I dont watch enough of any of the boys.
What im told:
- Trengove is the best SA player to come out of the draft since Pavlich.
Better than Gibbs; Hartlett etc;
- Trengove can play anywhere on the ground and perform;
- Captain within 5 years;
- Always seems to have plenty of time;
- Dominated in SANFL including finals;
Scully seems to always be in a rush, seems to not have much time or space.

Watching Trengove at the end of season playing for Sturt makes you wish your team would finish 16th. He was unbelievably good for someone his age. Best in a seniors final is a remarkable effort.
If he goes to Melbourne he wont come back home
Not knocking Trengove one bit - agree with yr comments on him, but yr view on Scully is way off. Scully's biggest strength is finding space in a jam. His inside handball releasing players into space stands out to the point where it could rival Greg Williams. He also has excellent leadership qualities, steps up in big games and his fitness level/ability to get to contests/accumulate posessions is beyond exceptional.
I rate Scully better than Trengove but I hope Melbourne get both of them!

I would rate Trengove above Scully on actual play. Both guns. If an SA team had first pick Trengove would be picked. If Melbourne only had one pick, Scully would likely be picked.

News just In:
Just been told Crows have 5 names for pick 13, as up to pick 8 very predictable:
Sheppard, Lucas, Duncan, Aaron Black wont tell me the other.
The 5 are so hard to separate apparently.
Love Sheppard (Bernie Vince lookalike, but Port want him bad, they think he will complement Boak/Hartlett very well. He is definate 1st round, Port will have to use pick 8/9 for him).
Lucas is gun inside midf. Id rather have Sheppard.
Black is very impressive, reminds me of Dangerfield without the same level of speed.
Duncan havent seen enough of him.
However do wonder who is the 5th name?

From a reliable soure, Jetta to WC at pick 7 done deal.
Jetta is a star exactly what WC need.
If he was there at 13 i hope crows would have taken him.
Hi again Faith,I a not 100% convinced they will take Jetta at 7.From what I hear Lucas ,and Butcher are ahead of him.Picks 22,23 they will look at what is availbe for a crumber eg Taylor,Colyer.
Time will tell I suppose and a slider might just happen like Rich last year..

At pick 17 its impossible to tell. after pick 7 its so hard apparently, because port at pick 8 and 9 keep things close to their chest, so who knows by the time pick 17 comes along.
i think there will be many KPP that will go between 8 and 18.
So my prediction KPP.

Jetta over Lucas any day of the week.
You wont get a Jetta type player at 22 or 23.
I agree with you Butcher is tempting at 7, but i think he will go to the Power at 8.

Have you not seen Black go through the midf?
In a game late in the year Black got 26 possessions, 7 marks, and 13 hit outs, in a rucking role.
IM not saying he is a ruck, but he has midfield ability.
That's still a bizarre comparison to make. What's your point exactly? Aaron Black's gonna play through the midfield his whole career?
