Anyway, I appreciate you approaching the argument somewhat sincerely. It is largely correct save for a key point; the nature of the online pvp drives the use of nukes as a reward; as a tool to desire, their application something to pursue.
This clashes sharply with the previous games which, as mentioned, treated them largely as something far morally murkier, evoking mixed emotions as it pressed home the point: there are no winners in war, just survivors. Often alone, even.
No matter how it occurred or who tried to justify it, in the name of gods and monsters, it always ended the same way. Kinda shitty. With lots of death.
In 76 nukes are now the ultimate goal; unambiguously good. Get KEYS. Get NUKES. Get LOOT.
That’s different. That has changed.
War has changed.
