Great night with some excellent ideas tossed around.

So good to see the club being proactive and communicating with what the fans want.

hahaha...funny you say that. I was actually close to asking if he was a brother of Patto...spitting image IMO, albeit a shorter 'version'.

Spoke really well and seems very switched on. This area of the RFC seems to be in good hands IMO.

The fact there were so many wholehearted agreements with club suggestions speaks volumes about the hands it is in

# - greater player involvement digitally IE;twitter accounts/blogs etc. (they can't be forced they have to want to do this)
# - collating and gathering all tiger media releases onto one forum
# - streaming Coburg games through ours or another website (massive thumbs up)
# - using the punt rd. facilities much more on match days , BBQ's , family activities , injured players on hand to meet and greet.
# - Playing Coburg games @ Punt rd. as curtain raisers on the cards
# - much greater coverage and wrap ups from Coburg as to how Richmond listed players are travelling
# - the club is looking to take more ownership/branding of the "G" on game day
# - Ben Cousins currently has no role now or in the foreseeable future @ the RFC (but he loves us and the door is open is my feeling)

... and the clincher , the revoking of Madtiger2006's membership due to the shear weight of stupidity and embarrassment

Very good summary IDGAF & pretty much covered most things.

We also requested that live streaming of training sessions on the new site (cant recall what it was called) the club said it is a possibility.

Also I noticed that my fellow supporters forgot to mention 1 thing about the club & the merchandising.
If you purchase ant merchandise from a retailer the club only gets 1% of the purchase price but
if purchased from the club directly the make 40% so something to keep in mind next time buying stuff.

I hatehatehateeeeeeeee working at Essendon home games!! As if that guy isn't bad enough, I'm lucky to get inside without puking over the way they deck out the pedestrian bridge with huge cardboard pictures of their players and speakers next to them with game sounds and commentary from their games.

They already have that Schibecci idiot from SEN reading the scoreboard over the PA for you and telling you 'we'll be back after the break'. And here's a suggestion for RFC Official, turn the damn music down! (this could go in the what cheezes me orf thread too) It was worst in round one last year, when quarter time came and we'd been blown away, then my ear drums copped a pounding too. God, remember the days when you used to be able to look at the scoreboard yourself and hear your mate talking in the seat next to you? Have we become that thick and attention-deficient that we need to be 'entertained' every goddamn millisecond? If I wanted to listen to loud, shit music and some ****wit on a loudspeaker I'd go to an outer suburban nightclub. I go to the footy to watch the footy and funnily enough, that's enough for me.

A big element of the feedback was making Punt Rd. a hub pre and post match, barbeques, large utilization of the Social Club, injured players present etc

Like that idea, would be good to be able to have a kick of the footy with your kids/mates prior to the game, grab a snag or 2 and a drink and march over to the G with the rest of the faithful.

Happy with this as long as it doesn't mean we have bays of seats covered with sponsorship banners like Port to to make the crowd look bigger than it is.

Club is interested in expanding the media front, looking at Bigpond Nation, facebook, more chats, interviews, podcasts.

While I wasn't initially impressed with Bigpond Nation if they can make it a bit more fan friendly and Richmond orientated then I'd be prepared to give it a crack.

They're basically keen on involving the fans and providing the best experience possible.

Not sure if it happened to others last year, but they are saying that Social Club members will be getting the team prior to 5pm Thursdays via sms, which is a good start. Would also be nice if all members were given this info as some people can't afford to upgrade to social club status.
