If they were playing a crap team this weekend yeah but surely they won't rest him in such a big match against Liverpool right? Also international break coming up after that so he will have time to rest then.

I've swapped him for Kane not because I don't think he'll play. Just think Kane could explode against Cardiff and I think Liverpool will beat City

Hm, he came off pretty early on the weekend and Pep talked about managing him through to the International Break. Reckon there's a chance Jesus starts on the weekend.

In such a huge game? Doubt it. He's been subbed early in the last 3 PL games and was a sub in the Oxford game, so I think he should start. Big 3 points on the line.

Might think Jesus suits a system better for taking on Liverpool? CL game was pretty important too.

But BHA wasn't as important as either of them so why not rest him there? I do remember him saying somewhere that Aguero is in the best shape he has seen him. Would be a brave move for him to start with Jesus ahead of him. I'd be happy on an FPL front for that but overall I think that helps Liverpool most

Because resting him against Brighton was meaningless. Playing in the CL this morning and then on the weekend is still two games in 3-4 days, it was either rest him this morning, or else (IMO) start Jesus on the weekend. I'll be happy, but very surprised if he starts against Pool.

He played two games in 3-4 days this time around with 1 pointless game. Why not play him in 2 games over 3-4 days that matter?

Because as you said, the Brighton game was meaningless and lower intensity. Your point would stack up if he had been rested against Brighton and had come off early this morning, but this would now be a third game in succession. He came off early against Brighton so was risked this morning in an important game.

They'd get 3 points against BHA with or without him. The next 2 are a risk. I think they've been managing him with 60mins in starts with this week in mind of potentially playing 90 mins against Hoff & LFC
