Who is the fastest player at the Crows at the moment.
Lots of choices like Mcleod, Mattner, Johncock, Van Berlo or Welsh is pretty quick of the mark

Who u rekon is the fastest player?

Mattner is great running out of traffic. I love it when he sort of puts his head down so he's got a bit of a hunch back as he's doing it.
Macca's better days are probably behind him.
Overally, Jericho is probably the quickest at the club, but out of the best 22 I'd have to say Mattner.

I don't think Van Berlo would be as fast as some others....
It's out of Macca or Jericho.
Macca would be quicker over a very short distance (eg. acceleration from packs), but I expect Jericho would do him after 50+ metres.

I think people over-rate Jericho's pace a bit here. Yes he is quick, no doubt but I would still back McLeod over Jericho.

I still think McLeod is the quickest over 20 meters at the club.

I don't know how people can even consider Van Berlo in this debate. The boy is a freak aerobically but he is an average sprinter.

Oh yeh love it. The Mattner express. Looks like a steam train and when he catches them the tackle sticks just ask shane crawford!!!!!

Have to ask the question while Jericho has been mentioned but are we expecting much from this bloke this year. He's been floating around for 3 or so years. Surely he has to do something this year to keep his spot.

How has he been doing in the SANFL??

Jericho had a good year for Westies & ended up playing a fair bit in the midfield, as he was getting cold in the forward line! He would want to do something at AFL level next season though.

Not a current player obviously, but does anyone remember Adam Ugrinic circa mid-nineties?

He was half man, half bullet - 1996 trial match vs. Melbourne I thought we'd recruited an albino Carl Lewis. Never played a senior game for us though as he shopped for his hamstrings at the same place as Lippy and Trigger.

If he doesn't do it next year, the walls will come tumbling down for him.

I thought the Birdman was the quickest we had, or is that enduro I was thinking of?
hes good at endurance, as is Van Berlo, and as RoosterLad said, Matty Campbell is a star but is the same weight as a jockey, but my god he is fast.
