The classic defense when you have no defense line. Now we are grasping at straws.
Your inabilities are showing maggie... may be time to try a bit harder or give up.Correction: now YOU are grasping at straws.

Read the posts said bye awhile ago.Your inabilities are showing maggie... may be time to try a bit harder or give up.
You've obviously never met a teenage girl if you don't realise they can be massively self-absorbed pains in the arse.Read the posts said bye awhile ago.
Difficult to discuss when meaning of words are misconstrued to suit bias or nazi's description of teenage girls. Hardly worthwhile continuing when it gets that low.
Yep- and I spoke in generalities, not referencing being called a '**** by a stranger on the internet'/Ford scenario.
Besides, pretty sure I made a fair attempt to explain that further. I agree that verbal abuse can be damaging. I also think its not just a female offence-men can be pretty good at verbal abuse too. I am also saying I am not sure what does more harm- physical or verbal, emotional abuse etc. My understanding is that verbal abuse is seen as an offence. As is neglect-but it doesn't get much attention either.
Being a bit pedantic Lester. But I can be pedantic too.Not true. When you said 'The old saying sticks and stones is rubbish in any case. One can recover from a broken arm but words that hurt can last forever' it was a reply to a post about Ford being called a **** by a stranger on the internet. Then the rest of your post continued to talk about the Ford situation.
You and Chief both got yourself tangled up trying to justify Ford's actions by saying how hurtful words can be, then backtracked when faced with the implications of that argument for domestic violence. If verbal abuse is more serious than physical abuse then it should be treated as domestic violence and we would see just as many women as men charged with it. Of course that doesn't happen because verbal or emotional abuse within a relationship is not seen as an offence.
You seem to know an awful lot about feminist m-o and views, can you tell me what the feminist view is of pornography?Feminisms m-o and the general acceptance of that m-o by society won't be achieved until women dominate every possible aspect of life.
Equality is apparently achieved by domination.
No not as you describe them but I must admit have met many males like you. Bogan blokes! You've obviously never met a teenage girl if you don't realise they can be massively self-absorbed pains in the arse.
Really, please tell me more about myself. I'm sure you wouldn't be the type to judge someone you've never met, so I assume we actually know each other in real life.No not as you describe them but I must admit have met many males like you. Bogan blokes!
Your tar them all with the same brush, sounds like you need to look past your prejudice.
What an awful bloke you are.
This thread now resembles a party at 4:00 on a Sunday morning. No further good can come of it.
This whole board jumped the shark long ago. Nobody with half a brain takes any of it seriously any more. This thread now resembles a party at 4:00 on a Sunday morning. No further good can come of it.
It is interesting because we have gone to discussing the terms immodest and provocative and ended up with your perception of teenage girls.Really, please tell me more about myself. Although, having sisters and a number of nieces, I can't be too judgmental of his opinion. They can be right pains. It is interesting because we have gone to discussing the terms immodest and provocative and ended up with your perception of teenage girls.
I am assuming that you or your friends do not have teenage girls, if I am wrong would be interested what they think of your description of them.
No I don't know you nor do I wish to, however sometimes what a person writes seems a good place to start of the type of person I wouldn't want to know in real life.
I must really be lucky or perhaps it may be our European background as my nieces are/were fantastic. Their friends are/were okay too.Although, having sisters and a number of nieces, I can't be too judgmental of his opinion. They can be right pains.
