Fevola managed to kick 70 + goals year in year out with an useless midfield that was trying to loose games, i always said if fev played for eagles when he had cox kerr judd cousins, he would kcik 100 goals a year.

Why is it a poor one. Both full forwards, one has mental issues while the other has been in fine form. One also has less delivery with a lot going to Brown while the other gets everything and them some tossed his way! ... I'd rather have Bradshaw because he does the team thing, doesn't hold his team to ransom and doesn't go making an arse of himself in public but on the other hand Fevola has more raw talent noone can deny.

Happy now?

Agreed bradshaw has his chances limited by playing in a forward line with brown, compared to the amount of attacks that goes fevs way. however you need to take into account the attention brown takes off bradshaw, where as fev often has multiple players to take on. fev for mine.

Bradshaw. Cheaper, less annoying. Thing is, clubs need more than one forward target. Considering how good Carlton have been this year, their forward set up is a little one dimensional. Beat Fevola, beat Carlton. We failed to do that, Carlton won. But with Bradshaw, he acts well to the foil to Brown. For the amount of money they cost and what they expect to be (Fev expects to be the centre of the club) Bradshaw seems to fit into a club set up better. Clubs would rather a team player who fits into the set up well than a prima donna who doesn't. For instance if Geelong had the choice of the two, I'd think they'd pick Bradshaw.

Bradshaw by a lot. Was ahead of Fev this year until he copped the hamstring injury.

WOW, surprise....why cant you leave Carlton threads alone you lying little man? Oh sorry, I forgot, you have a soft spot for Carlton!

I do, i want them to play in finals, just for old time's sake. Anyway this is also a Brisbane thread, just like the Leuenberger Kreauzer poll. I vote on a lot of threads, not just Carlton or Brisbane ones.

You failed to beat Fisher and Gibbs who kicked five goals between them.

Moore held Fevola like Thursfield did in round one.

Fevola is a better talent and footballer by a long way, but Bradshaw is the better team player and has worked well with another forward.

Yet it isn't Fev's fault we only have one forward.

Fevola pantsed Rutten in the dreamteam game when he had a great midfield kicking it to him and played alongside Brown. I'd like to see how Fevola would go leading out to Black, Power, Adcock, Drummond, Johnstone, Lappin, etc. with a dominant ruckman feeding them the ball in space. ;)

Our biggest weaknesses is field kicking and the lack of an established ruckmen to give our midfielders first possession in space.

is it fair to say that these 2 are the only 2 pure full forwards in the game atm??

fwiw, i went with fev becaue he's faster, stronger, a better mark, a better kick (though bradshaw has been ridiculously accurate this year i'd still rather have fev, i think bradshaw is better from the tighter angles and fev is better from a long distance) and a better defensive player. i think the only thing bradshaw has over him is his smarts and the fact that he is a better team player and someone who never gets into any trouble.

Bradshaw isn't really a pure FF per se, he has played down back before. Yes, mainly as a forward, however he has played down back enough for it to add to his versatility.

But I still maintain that even though Fevola is at times petulant, does stupid things off the field and plays for Carlton, he is just on another level as a full forward, quick on the lead, good hands and a long and accurate kick - more importantly can win games of his own boot.

No shame in Bradshaw being not as good as him, not many people are.

Lol, Fev by a mile. Headcase aside he is the best FF in the comp bar none. For a guy who's had more downs than ups this year he will most likely win himself another Coleman, Bradshaw whilst being a good player is not at Fev's level.
