I had my own amazing free kick goal last night against Cotch.

I got a Free Kick about 10-15 metres from the Penalty box and around about 5 metres from the boundary, I decided I might take the shot at goal, it curled around and ended up hitting the goalkeeper on his chest who was behind the goal line, so it was considered an own goal.

GREAT HUH?!?

Didn't think it was that great TBH, seemed like a bit of a glitch as usually the goalies jump towards the ball and grab it like a chest mark.

I am looking to join a BAP Club on PS3 and I came across this thread to ask if anyone had a club and needs a player to join.
I have been searching on google a fair bit for one but all I got was clubs in the UK which I couldn't join because of the time difference.
So if someone needs a player to join there BAP Club I would be extremely interested.

We haven't had much luck with it, and haven't even been able to play a game yet :o. Ask the poster gouldy 34 for more info, he is usually around the games board.
 
Too easy now. Just waiting to win every trophy available in a season on Legendary difficulty and then I'll stop playing. I won a Champs league group game V Schalke 11-0 a few days ago. Ronaldo is now and I have no player under 93. Silly.
 
I know what you mean, I have the best keeper in the world (H. Lloris @ 97) and nobody under 92. As Accrington.

They're way down in the doldrums. Like, Division 4.

With such awesome teams like Scampaignerhorpe United, and Plymouth & Argyle.
 
So you did it the hard way? Probably more satisfying than having Ronaldo knock in 6 off wing every second week.

What kids did you buy? Off the top of my head, Bostock, Falzone, Cmacho and an African bloke with about 14 names have been good buys.

Yeah, had to get promoted through about six divisions to get to the premier league.

Had an 18 year old kid at the start who was the best player in my team as a striker (59 or something), and bought players like Pallardo, Traore in the first couple of years.

As I swept through the divisions, players like Benzema, Ivanovic, De Rossi, Aguero, Jesus Navas.

A few scouted kids too, Daniel Carlos Hughes for one. But yeah, smashing everyone now.

I'm only playing until i reach legendary status for both club and country in be a pro mode. Once i have done that i'll retire it, having said that it's not a game i play regularly these days.... had my first game for close to a month on Saturday.

Also, I'm new to the online side of things... I can see how to just play random people/teams or whatever, but how do you actually find people you actually know, and can you add them to like "favourites" lists or anything like that? Sorry if that question sounded overly amateurish :p

The way to find your friends will be through the Player HUB, which can be found in the Online Modes menu, then once in your HUB you scroll using the L1 to find your friends list, then you can invite them and such to a game.

Otherwise you can do something like start a BAP match and tell your friend to search for a couple of specifics in the match(ie: Stadium and Halve length) and then find your username and enter into the game.

Thought about buying this again but I can't stand the manager mode.

I mean it is just way too easy. I remember in 08 Robert Green after three seasons had an overall of 99.
