LOL, so now they have 360 degree movement.

Why wasn't it available earlier?(Obviously seems a VERY late addition from Konami too)
Konami unveils new 360-degree control system, and more key gameplay advances determined by fan requests

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has announced that PES 2010 will benefit from 360-degree control and further elevating the unrivalled realism of the title.

The announcement comes following Konami’s close contact with the global network of PES and football fans, who have played a key role in the development of the new game. Via forums and feedback, the PES Productions team in Tokyo has canvassed opinion on elements fans hoped to see included in PES 2010, and 360-degree control was part of the long list.

360-degree control will be available on both the PLAYSTATION 3, Xbox 360 and PC-DVD versions of the game via the analogue sticks on the respective controllers. The system will allow players to spread the ball with ease, opening up new attacking and defensive possibilities. PLAYSTATION 3 owners will also benefit when using the Dual Shock’s D-Pad, but Xbox 360 and Win D-Pads are limited to eight-directional control due to technical limitations of the hardware.
I regret to inform I'm not able to comment on the game's new 360 degree movement control, as this is a feature that has yet to be implemented in the current build. However as of the latest Konami press release, we're informed that this will end up on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game when it goes to retail.

Honestly though, nothing that PES is offering this year really speaks to me that much. Where as everything FIFA is offering makes me want it more and more.

I also think FIFA and EA have taken the right path this year with the 70% refinement and 30% innovate strategy. Someone on that FIFA forum said it perfectly:
Source: http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/10791524-post26.html
"Personally I'm delighted that they went for the 70-30 split on refinement-innovation. The past two years were full of great and ambitious ideas, but, like those games where you build a tower by dropping blocks on top of each other, some of the lower parts were a bit askew and if they carried on building on top of that, the whole thing could eventually have toppled over. Nothing in FIFA 09 was perfect; everything had a flaw, big or small, that needed addressing.

Now that they've focussed on making this year's instalment world-class, they have a solid foundation to build on over the next few years before the new gen arrives."
PES to me this year is looking A) Very cluttered and B) Just looks like it has WAY too much new stuff to be refined enough to still make a great game.

I loved FIFA 09 even with all it's faults and FIFA 10 is looking like it has eliminated at least 95% of those faults while bringing in a great bunch of new stuff too. CAN'T WAIT!!!

PES > FIFA I am afraid matey so you are wrong, so incredibly wrong.

The dribbling was fine in PES anyway.

Every year FIFA say how awesome the game will be, and instead it ends up being porridge. Crab walks followed by a ridiculous flick over the head when all I wanted to turn around.

So one glitch that was fixed and an in built trick is your excuse for not playing an entire game?

Pretty good tasting porridge IMO.

Read that thread that I linked to the actual hands-on preview. The only faults that were picked up were actually said to not be there in the demo version.

I mean you can say PES>FIFA but the overwhelming opinion on the game is that FIFA>PES.

Simple facts are that this year I highly doubt that faults like those mentioned will appear this time around because of the refinement instead of innovation, leaving a heap more room for everything to have been slicked up and nothing missed.

FIFA will get better, in better but less noticable ways from now on. They really nailed the gameplay in 09 IMO, now it will be tweaked to perfection and then graphics/features will enhanced.

Looks like I'm gonna have to get myself a PS Eye now.:)

Hope the game face feature works well though.

Yeah, thats what happens.

It's a pain in the arse, but pretty cool. It didnt look much like me, but that game was made over 12 months ago.

God only knows why they took that out of the game in the first place...
