Just picked it up.:)

Traded FIFA 10 for it and got $20 for the trade, was stoked! Expected $10 at the most.
FIFA is a game crying out for a new generation of consoles. The graphics are largely quite poor except for the cutscenes of the players.
I dunno about a new gen of consoles, a new engine will cut the mustard. Really though the graphics are competent enough and far from the worst of sports games.

WTF mate, your baggin someone because they want to save money? Not everyone has money to burn like you do..

I dont have money to burn, i just have my priorities right.

FIFA must be purchased and played the day of release.. its as simple as that

Is everyone playing the game on a 1080p HD tv? If your not the game looks ordinary. I think the graphics are very sharp, player movements are fantastic and the colours really jump out at you. Also plugged in the xbox360 in my computer monitor which is HD, must say it looks a little sharper than on the LCD.

Think the game is excellent, looking forward to playing it over the weekend! Also got 2k11 from my mate who downloaded it last week, must say it's an improvement on last Years title, all 2k fans will be stoked!

Just played a few games online, won 2 and lost the last few, more realistic then last year's edition. I recommended sticking to the australian lobbies if you want a no lag/disconnection when playing online.

PSN: rapidshave

You are going to have a crack at Be a Keeper? Let us know how you go mate.. I don't think I could play a whole season let alone a career as a keeper. It will be interesting to see how tough it is and whether a slight error (early button press?) results in a goal.

Rubbish, the graphics are spot on. Given the camera angle it is always going to be hard for the graphics to be amazing.

Why is everyone so excited about it? How different is it to FIFA 10? I haven't got money atm but when I do I'll probably get it, but I'm not as excited for it as I have been for other games.

Think before you type. Then think again..... Then type!

Good question. The answer: It's fifa.

picked this up today and love it!

really think it controls fantasticly, even when compared to fifa world cup which i got as a pre-order bonus from GAME which i played for about 5 games total on.

i am a mega n00b at fifa but have far too many friends who play it to keep ignoring it and glad i have the new one.

can't wait to get good enough to compete against some of you guys online!

I think you need to play a PC game or two before you think those graphics aren't outdated.

I'm not talking so much about the main broadcast angle, when the players are that small it is hard (although PES on the PC looked better about 4 years ago) but any of the cutscenes that aren't about 2 metres away from the player are pretty bad. The stadium looks jaggy and horrible, as do the crowd.

The 360 has had a good run but it's time to be moved on. It's running on a 7000 series graphics card...

I didn't have FIFA 10, the World Cup game was my first because I only recently got a 360, but here is what I think is new:

1. Be a Pro and Manager Mode are combined into one mode.
2. You can be a goalie in player mode, including online, meaning you can have 11v11 online games (potential lagfest?)
3. Improved passing to basically make it harder to just send pin-point passes around at will
4. um.....updated rosters although that kind of goes without saying
5. Melbourne Heart is in...that will please their 20 supporters
6. I think you can do custom celebrations in online matches now, although that doesn't excite me all that much given my players inevitably get stuck in the goals when celebrating.

Doesn't seem like a big list. There are probably other things and the gameplay will have been refined in general but you could perhaps afford to hang onto FIFA 10 if you are strapped for cash.

Have played a fair few games today and am absolutely rapt with the passing in the game. There are a lot less ridiculous through balls from teams such as Real, Chelsea etc which used to shite me to tears. The benefits are there for those who use tricks and you generally have better control of players when the ball is in dispute. Chip shots are a hell out a lot harder and a 1v1 with the keeper isn't as easy as a simple chip shot any more. I love the new Match Highlight feature after the game where you can save highlights to watch over again. This game is a good improvement on Fifa 10 and well worth the money.

Now, to try and get Robin Van Persie to lift his **** and be a lot more like Diego Forlan (best striker in the Spanish League :D)

Massive improvement on FIFA10, way harder to score. Won my first game with a 115th minute Rooney goal to make it 1-0 against Arsenal.

Are the new goal celebrations overly sexual???

Everytime I score a goal the players throw each other to the ground and jump on each other with players on the outskirts doing ridiculous hip thrusts which look awful from the camera angles used

Played 5 games so far, damn good. Will keep me going for sometime I think. Good that I've been able to get Everton off to a better start in the Premier League season than in RL :p.

I like the passing too, compared to the WC. Feels much more realistic. Goals are a bit harder to come by I feel though. Five games have been 1-0, 1-1, 2-2, 1-0 and 2-0. Accounts for my horrible defensive frailties a little better.

I hope that I can get good enough to compete online, and also sufficient latency.
