Depends on the contract.

They are all worth a certain amount of games. It's awesome making the final of a tourney only to have contracts expire and having to **** about in the auction trying to buy new contracts.

jack wilshere said it's more realistic and different from the demo, he's promoting it though so not sure if i should take his word

as for contracts, they never bothered me because i had an endless supply of golds that i added to every player

edit: did anyone here think the PES demo was better than the FIFA demo?

He got two pretty decent packs, I hate him so much. I got useless ones.

I'm coming around to this a bit more now.

I've customised the controls to give me defending similar to that of past FIFA's (making square the teammate pressure button...it's not the same, but it works well if you want to sprint and pressure too).

The only thing that is really still a massive issue is that perfect AI. The ridiculous and bullshit passes they constantly pull off shit me up the wall.

I love almost everything else about it now. The precision dribbling as mentioned in the IGN review isn't something that straight away you notice, but as you do little things to get around the defence it really shows up. And when you have someone who is a genius on the ball, like a Messi, you can absolutely make mince meat of the defence.

So yeah, **** the ridiculously cheap AI off and this game is realllllly starting to impress.

That right there will force me to throw my controller through my 52" LCD screen once and for all.

That was a MAJOR blight on the game last year and has not been addressed. I may now just wait for 13.
