good ins, and the correct outs, walters for me has really only had a couple of good wafl games this year. i think he needs to show consistant form before he gets given another go, he has plenty of time ahead of him, so get his form and confidence up then give him a gig,

Completely agree and not just because he plays for Swans. So, from those outs, I've got to watch Peake at East Freo? Great! I was hoping for a 'soft' win.

I know with the injuries we have had players have been given a spot in the side perhaps before they deserve it, but the way i look at it is, clancee had good wafl form and has played well at AFL level, deboer had good wafl form, was elevated and has played well at afl level, pratt was elevated and had been playing really well at wafl level, ballantyne was a mature aged recruit and had won a sandover so i think he had the points on the board to get a gig, clarke had played well at wafl level and he is basically our only other ruckman, broughton has is mature aged and ahs dominated at both wafl and afl level....... but walters hasnt really done enough, he was given a game because we literally had nobody else to come in, he didnt really show anything at afl level, although the bits he did do were silky smooth, i just think given that he is virtually the youngest player in the afl as well as one of the lightest, that he needs to do a good preseason and get his confidence/form up before getting a game, at this point id rather see peake bumble around adn stuff things up, than getting walters in there when he doesnt deserve a spot and getting smashed by guys twice his size and in brad johnsons case his age

Yeah OK, Peake in amused me immensely down at East Freo, I got a lot of enjoyment out of that. Walters was solid, but he can bide his time until next year, you want to up Peake's trade value at the moment. Maybe Geelong will take him and fly him in by helicopter?

JVB was played out of position & crucified by coaches in his 4 games at Freo....he is a midfielder not a forward defensive pocket - give the bloke a chance, in a year or 2 he will be better player than his brother, as long as he gets the chances further upfield.
