Is there a set way the finals play out in league.

Presuming Melbourne finish 1st and they will do they play on a particular day or is that decided when H&A is finished.

So Q is will they play Friday Saturday or Sunday if they finish 1st ? and it WILL be a home game

Higher ranked teams host in Week 1 of the finals.

Team 3 Vs Team 6 (Saturday Afternoon)
Team 2 Vs Team 7 (Saturday Night)
Team 1 Vs Team 8 (Sunday Afternoon)

Thanks - couldn't find it for the life of me.

Looks like being Richmond supporter I will be safe to do some OT Friday night of that weekend and be able to go watch Coburg ang the Storm on the W/end.

funnies thing I have read all year. And before you ask when we beat the 8th team YES we do get a Home Preliminary Final, Most likely on a Friday Night.

I think the NRL are still subject to the Sydney finals from week two until next year.

If the NRL can't broker a deal with Telstra/Aussie, the game will still be played in Sydney even if it is a Melbourne v QLD team match.

I believe that the new home finals system will start next year when the current deal with Aussie Stadium ends this year.
