Anyone intending on going to the scratchmatch this weekend? Also has anyone been to any of the training sessions yet... I haven't had a chance to go down to see how any of the lads are going.

Scratchmatch this weekend? In Kalgoorlie?

I'll be at the intraclub next friday, and I'm planning to do a write up of that. The following week I might try and catch some training the following week.

I don't know if you have access to the West, but there was a pretty comprehensive write-up of preseason training on Wed or Thurs this week.

I mean the intraclub scratchmatch... next friday night at Subi. I saw a little bit of the writeup in The West but I trust those journo's as much as the bank manager.

I intend taking the kids along, especially the Docker supporting one (must be a genetic abnormality somewhere in the wifes family) to both intra-club games.

Hopefully it will get him back on the straight and narrow.

Actually, all sorts show up at the intra-clubs. Last year, I was amazed to see Peter Bell sitting a few rows in front- I guess its his one chance to see a decent football team for the year.

The best thing about the intra-club matches are that they are free and you get to see most of the players. The match ups are always interesting and it will be good to see who Waters and Butler get to play against as well as seeing the rookies having a go. Can't wait. :D

No kidding, there are a few things I'm really really looking forward to seeing- definitely how Waters fits in for one.

Also

-The 'new' Judd, who is apparently quite a bit bigger and stronger.

-Lynch and Staker in defensive roles.

-the 2004 version of McDougall

-slimmed down, fitter and faster versions of Wirra and Chick

and of course all the other rookies looking to impress. Frankly though, I'm that desperate for football right now, I'd show up no matter who was on the park.

6.00pm I think from memory....

I might take the digital camera down and take some pics of the guys and post them up on the web... Hope the club doesn't get ****ed

5.30 according to the WCE website!

as far as i know, cameras are fine at training, wiz cup, or even 'proper' afl games, but video cameras are frowned upon, because of issues about tv station's rights to video footage or something.
Certainly, I took a digcam along on numerous occasions last year, and even had a chat to Tony Micale whilst taking happy snaps, so i don't think there's a problem.

E_F, are you definitely bringing your cam?

Should be a good game. Your lack of key defenders won't be shown up as there is a lack of key forwards. ;)

Has the Freo board gone to sleep since the school holidays have finished?

Ahhh the pre-season... can't wait for the Dockers first intra-club scratchie...... I am sure Chris Connelly will find some way to run onto the ground and abusing the umpiring... even though both teams are his.

I should hope so. It is a monty that one of the teams will be getting a raw deal. ;)

RIPPER are you ok?

Its seems to me that you are getting a sense of humour. Be careful or people may get a wrong impression...

Actually, you've been in wonderfully good humor ever since Sera defected. Probably best not to inquire to deeply as to why- you're accumulating quite a little harem for yourself there, aren't you;)
