Who is this guy? He contributed a bit.. Hiding at box hill obviously.. Hope he gets success in his future.

He's been out with a serious concussion for half the year.

We need to find an image of his face after kicking that goal. Funny as

Priceless :D

Loved his post match interview. I think it sums up the moment pictured above. To kick the most important goal of our season in your first game playing for the team you grew up supporting would have to be a surreal feeling. Well done to the kid, hope he gains enormous confidence from this. Could be our wildcard in the coming month.

Fitzy is super quick. I didn't realise how fast he was. After playing a huge game, he burnt Grundy off easily.

Big Kev I am
I was worried about his kicking for goal. Wasnt expecting much but AT LEAST wanted a running 70 metre clutch goal from the centre square. Is that too much to ask?

I love when a guy is playing like he will die tomorrow. That's what you get with your Spangers and Fitzys of the world. Grabbing the opportunity with everything they've got. This guy will likely surprise (if he hasn't already)

That was a wonderful moment. All the players around him are so excited, and he is just overwhelmed with shock and relief. Then he really lifted and that final run and goal was Buddy-esque. Burned off Grundy and a couple of other Pies...

He actually celebrated with Mitchell as it went through but at this moment was trying to remember if a draw was enough. He said so in his post match interview. He studies at Victoria Uni, I believe Business (Economics) and he certainly utilises his brain very effectively. Even in a moment like that he was thinking and planning of what to do next and where he should concentrate his effort: forward, back or lock it in.

It may have been said already but how good was it that in a tense, tight match with only 2 minutes on the clock, he didn't just grab the ball and bomb it long. Instead he took responsibility for trying to get us over the line, carried the ball and put it through.

I reckon there are a few much more senior players who would have just bombed it deep and hoped one of the forwards was good enough.

I am very pleased that Fitz kicked that great goal against the Pies, but did anyone notice his high ball drop! I know he's tall, but there's a lot of room for error between his hand and foot. Mind you, the Hawks have had their share of players with a terrible kicking style - I am old enough to remember David Polkinghorne from the 70's and early 80's!

I'm expecting one better versus the Cats. This means a bicycle kick out of the air from the centre bounce with 3 seconds remaining as we're down by 5 points against the Cats. Oh, and it should go through about mid 3/4 post high. Thanks Fitz.

So am I. I don't know how hard it is to re-engineer someone kicking style at his age, but it might be a good off season project.
