The proliferation of set games between two vic teams means you can expect us to get more non vic double ups each year no matter what now. Gone from just the Anzac day match being a set one to more than 10 now.

Funny that it doesn't get spoken about. 6 non vic premiers in a row and alarm bells are going off and the vic government gets involved. Since then theres been 10 victorian premiers, and a single non vic with COLA. Not a peep from anyone, and if you ask the question you just get "oh interstate sides just need to get better" or "but you get true home games". Absolute joke.

That's exactly why Brisbane's 3 peat shits all over the Hawks. They beat Victorian sides each time, yet the Hawks got to play interstate sides 3 times, twice of which they were the lower ranked side, yet they got the home game.

I don't want the GF to ever be moved, it wouldn't be right to be played anywhere else, but interstate sides get nowhere near enough recognition for winning flags when forced to play away, even when they technically deserve the home ground advantage. Imagine in 2014 if they'd had to play the swans at the SCG, or us at Subi in 2015? Again, never going to happen, but the Vics just flat out refuse to believe that it's a huge advantage for them, and massively unfair.
