Since there is meant to be footy on tonight and neither Channel 7, Fox Footy or afl.com.au are showing any I thought I would do my own footy classics fixture for Round 4.

Thursday April 9
2003 Round 4 - Brisbane Lions v Collingwood, The Gabba (7.35pm)

Friday April 10
1998 Round 22 - North Melbourne v Western Bulldogs, MCG (4.20pm) (battle for top spot)
2017 1st Elimination Final - Port Adelaide v West Coast Eagles, Adelaide Oval (7.50pm)

Saturday April 11
2017 Grand Final - Richmond v Adelaide, MCG (1.45pm)
2016 Round 2 - Fremantle v Gold Coast Suns, Subiaco (4.35pm)
2019 Round 15 - Essendon v GWS Giants, Marvel Stadium (7.25pm)

Sunday April 12
2010 1st Elimination Final - Sydney Swans v Carlton, SCG (1.10pm)
2006 2nd Elimination Final - St Kilda v Melbourne, MCG (4.40pm)

Monday April 13
2016 Round 1 - Geelong v Hawthorn, MCG (3.20pm) (the PFD show)

I wonder if I can get away with Twitch streaming some of these

I reckon Paddy's due for a big one, but being early rounds might be a bit tired in the last quarter.

The AFL throwback fixture for this week...and you can still get your Easter Monday footy fix

If anyone is feeling like they need their happiness levels bought down a few notches, then maybe one would consider this an option

I still hear those famous words from Bruce McAvaney: "Now Dew could kick this and he has!"

Fun fact about that Essendon vs North Melbourne game. While it was the biggest comeback in history (a 69 point deficit into a 12 point win), it wasn't the biggest turnaround in terms of score on the day. West Coast were leading Geelong by 22 points midway through the 2nd quarter, 7.3.45 to 3.5.23. Geelong then proceeded to kick 19 of the last 24 goals to end up winning by 70 points, 22.18.150 to 12.8.80. :)

Looking forward to it

Good luck with the lockdown stuff

I've been reading a Vic Police Facebook post with details of how to report those breaking the restrictions - so things like neighbours having a dozen mates around for a BBQ & drinking session

Apparently it's unAustralian to make such reports and we should just turn a blind eye to those ignoring the restrictions

Not sure too many really like the restrictions, but the sooner people comply with them means the less likely we are to need stage 4/lockdown restrictions and potentially also we are on these stage 3 restrictions for a shorter time frame

It's kinda like some people think that by ignoring the restrictions it will make the government ease or relax them - not sure it works that way

Was the best play by play since Rex Hunt hung up his headset. ;)

Cha7 Adl have the State of origin game of 93 on.... Gazza & Buddha on fire in the first. So much appreciation for those boys. Buddha is unders but heck between Jnr and Polly it's splitting hairs.

Not sure where to post this, but I’ve been going through the victory packs. Started with ‘09 after they played round 14 from that year and have just started 2007. Nathan Ablett.... what could have been! Imagine him and Hawkins in our forward line 2013 - 2019..... 😿

Nice little reminder there as to why I'm glad Motlop is no longer at the Cats. Just poor decision making kicking inside 50.
