Geelong Football Club, a member of the AFL, is seeking to appoint a GM of Football Operations, reporting directly to the CEO.
Geelong is a club with a first class track record of stable management and growth in revenues and profitability over the past few years. This position will effectively be responsible for the total management of operations within the football department.
This will include strategic input, the understanding of performance levels, overseeing of the player list, preparation of budgets, development of the GFC Player Leadership Group and performance management of the entire football related department.
This will include recruiting, football administration, technology, coaches, player development, fitness, rehabilitation and medical.
Additionally, the appointee will be a key member of the executive team, and will work closely with the GM of Public Relations.
An appropriate background in football management is desirable and an attractive salary will be offered to the right person.
