Same here. I hate playing games like this. I was elated when Riewoldt and Fisher went off the ground (yeah I know, harsh, whatever), but then the realisation that we were never going to convert against a decimated side made the loss at least a thousand times worse.

Lockyer is still far more reliable than they are. Anthony/Cloke have been disappointing, but are well above the level of those players.

Hey all just thought I would throw my 2 cents in, I very rely post on the more or less like to sit back and just read through what peoples thoughts are about the pies. But I have to say the more the half the people on here on a bunch of miserable f*$ks who know nothing about football. First thing anyone who things Tarks is useless seriously just leave the forum tear ur membership up if u have one and never watch footy again, he is by far one of our most constant players, will always be one of the first picked every week sure he’s kicking is not the same since he’s knee injury back in 2003 but he is hard at it, is a great leader of the club and defiantly kicks more then he’s far share of goals. Second for those that said Trav played shit Friday night must have been watching some different then I, Yes he’s kicking is bad we all know that, its not going to change so get over it, when he won our BF he never kicked massive bags, He will always be a lead up forward like Friday night I will be happy if he gets he’s 10 marks, 15 posses and presents well, yes he should have kicked 3 but I think it was a much improved TC on Friday and think for a 22 year old who takes most times the oppositions best defender, I will be happy if he plays like he did Friday night more often then not. With the likes of JMac, Tooves, Cheese, give the first 2 a brake, Yes Tooves makes me a little nervous when he gets the ball but he has shown that he is not afraid to take the game on, he usually takes and beats a half decent small. JMac has great skill, (yes he’s shot from 15 out on a slight angle was not a good example but everyone misses those from time to time) he will be in our best 22 if he can stay injury free and get some back to back games on he’s hand, and finally Cheese, yes he does not seem to have the best skills but what he lucks in that he makes up for in he’s tackles and pressure and has led our clubs tackle count a number of times, every team needs someone like that, I would really like to see Cheese being used as a tagger if he has the gut running in him. Guys we are 2-1 with a very good chance to go 3-1 all of us would have been happy with that start when the draw came out.

PS anyone who Knocks Presti seriously will be hunted down, most underrated player in the AFL by a country mile

Sure Franklin being out is a positive but our problem is that we need to firstly get the ball - Jolly - please stand up.Secondly we need to rove it and then we need to kick some bloody goals!!!!!!!

Any word on whether the boys have practiced some extra goal kicking - so frustrating to lose last week when we were all over them.
