Campbell (achilles) - 6-8 weeks

Davis (thyroid disorder) - 6-8 weeks

Fitzpatrick (foot) - 3-5 weeks

Frawley (shoulder) - 4 weeks

Mass jizz.

4 weeks from now - 29th of March.

Our first game against the Swans - 27th of March.

Is a round 2 return on the cards??

Petterd wrote an article on the MFC site too about a day in the life... blah blah... he is training properly.

Hopefully we wont need him V the Swans if it is at all like last time we played them at the G.

We will certainly need him by round 2 V the Hawks!

2 things have me worried about the injury list. Firstly McKenzie. Haven't seen much of him this pre season, and haven't heard much about him either. I hope it's not OP. Anyone heard anything of his injury? He will be crucial in the middle this season now that Junior is gone. Defensive pressure in our midfield is something we need a lot of work on, and he can provide this for us.

Secondly, everytime I look at the injury list, we always seem to have at least 2 or 3 ruckman on it. Our ruck stocks are very thin as it is, and to constantly see the same guys on the list is worrying. If Jamar goes down this season, we are officially screwed! Our fitness staff need to find ways to keep our ruckman fit and healthy.

Good news about Frawley. Doubt he will make Round 1, but we will definitely need him for the Hawthorn game even though he will be under done. Our backline struggled against the Bombers without him. We need him back asap...

Agree with all of this. McKenzie is super important and whilst he needs improved fitness and speed it will be devastating if he's got OP. It's an injury that takes the full year to fix in a midfielder.

On the rucks I will say I think the club is ultra cautious with Gawn, and Fitzpatrick it sounds like another victim of the hot spot. We've had plenty of them of late but so have many AFL clubs. It's obviously difficult to get the running and weights into young talls without stressing their feet.

Positive - No Blease, Gysberts or Tapscott - ie. get them out there!!!

Wasn't Frawley 6-8 weeks last week? What a difference a woeful performance by your replacement makes!

Keep it up Warnock, with the way your going Frawley might be able to fit in a practice match.

It hadn't been updated since 10th of Feb until this update :) No conspiracies.

Vey harsh, I thought our mids let us down against the bombers. When the ball is coming in that fast it makes it very hard for the defenders.

This isn't the right place for the discussion, but let me say that the defense decision making was plain terrible.

It was a terrible game from McDonald and Warnock - the mids weren't much better though :)

He has a very minor bout of OP. It was caught early and he is having treatment at the moment. Not sure when he'll be back but I'm very confident it is under control.

Frawley reckons on Twitter he'll be back by Round 2. I'm more worried about McKenzie, someone we really need to create more pressure in the midfield. Essendon just got it through there too easy last week. Morton's another who we need to help get the ball moving our way again.
