Fremantle or Melbourne?

Assuming all goes to plan this Sunday at Skilled Stadium, who would we rather play?

Fremantle or the Demons?

I'd probably prefer to play the Dockers as they've always been suspect interstate, where as against Melbourne we would be playing them at the MCG, thus nullifying any advantage we had of coming 6th.

I think we would beat both regardless, but just wondering who you all would like to play.

Melb have beaten us twice this year so would prefer not to chance it.

Jm , I agree that I think we can beat either but... I think Melbourne is probably more predictable hence I think we would get over them in a final. Freo is a very dangerious side because its best can be very good. Id say right now, Pavlich is the best player in the comp, McFarlin, Farmer and the rest are a bit hot and cold but their best is white hot.

On the other hand Melbournes backline is sus, with Nathan,KK who loves Melbourne,Palyfair,Chapman and the Dog we would the firepower to worry them. With Harley back to hold Robertson I feel we should have their forwards measure so it comes down to mids's.If we can maintain the tackle count of the WC match we should keep guys like Johnson under the pump.
All Im saying is I dont think its a clear cut Freo.

From a Melbourne perspective, I’d rather you play Freo. In an elimination final THIS year I would be pretty nervous against Geelong as they would be pumped to beat us.

BTW jmain14, Geelong are not better than Melbourne. Neither team has reached its peak with current lists, but the better team is yet to be determined.
