Well some people say Rhys Palmer some say Nick Suban.

Lets presume that pav retires at an average age of 32 then Rhys palmer will be 25 years and Nick Suban will be 23 years old.

I personally think Rhys Palmer as he is a great hard courageous player that is a gun. Who would you pick

To be honest I would be stoked if it were either Palmer, Mayne or Suban. When Palmer first came onto the scene I definitely thought he'd be our next captain but then Mayne has a great leadership aura about him as well. He seems like an absolute natural with the media from watching videos, plus he referred to West Coast as "that other WA team". But then Suban came along and I fell in love :p I'm like a little kid in a candy store trying deciding what I want!

Wonder whether palmer would be the sor tof bloke who should just be left alone to play footy. Give him the vice role to recognise his natural leadership as a player, but don't load him up with the other stuff. Suban seems like the most natural leader so I gave him my vote, but then thought it will probably be Sandi as an interim after the great Pav.

Assuming Pav has a good number of years in him, others may rise in the leadership stakes. Someone like Clarke or Ruffles may step up, we never know.

At present I see Suban as a future leader, Palmer I'd leave as a future leadership group member ( don't know about captain material ) and Mayne as chief motivator.

Geez Pav and Sandi are still getting better, let's not try to oust them yet.
