The big 3 all win/ won more in GS than regular tournaments because they are so hard to beat over 5 sets.

Novak is 24-12 (67%) in GS finals
Vs 40-18 (69%) in ATP 1000 finals

Beat Thiem 2020 AO down 2 sets to 1.

Nadal over Medvedev 2022, Sinner over Medvedev this year both down 2 sets to 0.

Not saying they have an unfair advantage, but more that a 5 setter usually Takes random chance / a poor start out of it, and the cream rises to the top.

Can’t read much into that French Open 2022 match in my opinion.

Nadal won the first set and they were 6 all in the second set. Nothing to suggest Zverev would have beaten Nadal before the ankle injury.
