I'm really starting to dislike derby time, it just reminds me how insufferable that supporter base is.

Short memory as about 2 seconds earlier Duggan stone cold dropped the ball in the goal square. Clear holding the ball. Play on of course. Just like all game where WC players did this, while our players were getting legitimate handballs away (Serong one on our half back flank springs to mind) and still getting pinged.

I've only flicked through the first quarter replay, but what is with Pavlich and sucking up to the Eagles? Whenever I stopped to watch a bit, he was siding with them on free kick calls and praising them. I get that he doesn't want to look biased to Freo, but he goes too far the other way. I was watching the Hawks/North game and there was an ex-Hawthorn player on the mic (forget who) who was actively referring to Hawthorn as "we" and "us".

Yeah,every time I listen Pav commenting, I hope He might GROW SOME and stand up for team He played over 350 games,but NAH NEVER HAPPENS...

The main board eagles fans were adamant he was a one eyed freo commentator. They honestly have NFI and make the MB threads so toxic with their stock standard responses

His job isn’t to stand up for us. He should be there as a commentator who is providing objective commentary.

They were actually moaning about the umpires in the 3rd quarter. I had to do a double take when I saw it. 10-0 not good enough for them!

Started when Williamson came into the centre bounces. Guy loves the whistle for West Coast.

Sheed had the ball, was tackled, swung around and incorrectly disposed of it. The resulting stoppage- Williams backed into Darcy, drew the free kick. Centre clearance then bang goal.

Id take my left foot over Henry. He wasn’t kicking from 50m. It’s amateurish. He’s not a penetrating kick but if the whole stadium knows you’re not going to kick it from 30m out slight angle then it’s time to put in the work.

I’m not saying ram it home, but stop chipping the kick like you’re trying to pass it to the goal umpire. That particular play was frustrating because we had about 5 guys out and we chose Henry.

I like what Henry brings, but this is a make or break season and yesterday was borderline career defining in all seriousness. He can’t keep making howler errors. His first 2 weeks was good, so he deserves a run at it, but another performance like yesterday in next 2 weeks and he’s dropped for sure. He may even get dropped this week.

He can sniff one last chance at a premiership which is why he worked his butt off. It's a shame because so many Freo legends have deserved a flag, Sonny is one of them. I hope we fix our shit soon because I want to give him every chance to get one.

I can see what they want to turn Henry into, a guy who can be a can opener and blow open the field with one genius kick. It is rare that he holds onto the pill for more than a second and he really stuffed up a few disposals under pressure. A weapon like that doesn’t come easily if at all, they’ll want to persist a bit more at the top level to see if he can get it right.

psychological projecting. They're caught between the bleeding cuts of a jagged rock and the grating reality of a hard place. Sometimes we all struggle with the acceptance of certain things - but their delusion in their gibbering grotto of irrationality is bordering on the Dali-level of paranoias! He liked blues and yellows too, maybe they should try their hand at Surrealism. They are the Ministry of Silly Walks right now, after all

They have some good young players who will potentially be A Grade, but not enough to steer their transition as yet as they clearly won't accept a rebuild. Now they realise they're in a 2023 world of hurt with all those injuries, but you also can argue they run the risk of so many injuries to over 30s and those with soft tissue histories. Yet, they can't balance that with playing too many of their new kids on the block. They're hanging tough, alright...

Also, given the insidious nature with which they operate, you reap what you sow.

In the end, it's just their typical saltiness. We had 9 more tackles. Disposal efficiency was even. I thought, in all fairness it was a good game....their eyes would have lit up in the 3rd, eyeing off a fairytale win, but we got them in the 4th as they fatigued.
