Austar have all three games on but I have to convince the fam to watch the middle match.
They can't fathom why I would watch AFL that doesn't involve Crows.

And the hardest thing will be if Melbourne beat us in the first match, Do I barrack for Port in the second?
God I hope it doesn't come to that!!

Sorry, yeah I mean the new one.
I'm glad they didn't mention the fact the boys will be using the shed for warming up in the email cause it IS subject to capacity and I want a spot!
But they have advised, as with normal training sessions, they may change this arrangement on the night.

Mmm, I'm in the same position. Clearly Laneway Festival has to win out but it is very annoying having a great festival the NAB Cup and Adelaide V Melbourne at AO on the same day. I'd go to all 3 if they were on consecutive nights.
Yep, same here. Plenty more footy to come though.

I'll be there - there seems to be heaps of free tickets going all over the place
I notice SANFL club members can/could get a free ticket eg as a South member there were 300 free tickets available and i guess that applied to each of the 9 SANFL clubs.

Yeah Centrals got 300 for their Members too.

Come on people! This might the only time this year we get to have a good look at the up and comers of the club. My 6 year old was so excited tonight she was bouncing around with my crows scraf on saying go crows! Hope there is a decent crowd.

Weather looks like it's gonna be garbage and not only are the Reds on but I've got mates drinks at the pub AND Moonee Valley races are on tonight.

Beer + footy, soccer, races all on separate screens + indoors = win :thumbsu:

SOFT :P

Mind you I attend football matches in any conditions (and yes I went to the Centrals v Glenelg game in round 23 last year played in some of the most horrendous conditions)

Also, looks like the weather will actually clear up before tonight

BOM Forecast
Forecast for Friday
A few showers developing during the early morning then clearing by early
afternoon. Possible morning thunder. Mild to warm with light to moderate
southwest to south winds, freshening during the afternoon then turning moderate southeasterly by evening and becoming fresh and gusty about the hills and southern suburbs.

I'm a top class procrastinator, which means I'm taking my lint collection with me to sort out during the Port vs Melbourne game :D

I'd imagine it'd still be dewy and slippery as all hell though.

I'll still be watching on the big screens, inbetween drinking, watching the reds & betting. Just not worth the 45 minute trip down IMO.
