Nope negotiate . 1.3 m is the highest , if he loves the club money should not be the only motivation for him . 200k should share among Weller , Blakely and langdon contract extension or 3 rookie list players. You pay it!
I didn't get dumped, I dumped him!

That's exactly what I saidHe could get around that, and fortunately Freo has a relatively young list (and will get younger as guys like Dawson/D.Pearce/Griffin are cut at the end of the season) and should have cap space to accommodate.
Yes. They have a heap of capspace after trading cloke & losing swan last yearIs Collingwood projected to have cap space?

Certainly reads to me like St Kilda asked the question at the start but were rejected straight away so moved on. Martin will sign as well so it's Kelly or much lesser players for St Kilda.
Possibly but they're in absolute no mans land list wise. Signing Mayne and Wells would suggest they think they can win a flag in the next couple years when there's 0 chance of that.Is Collingwood projected to have cap space?

Nope. He's not deserving of 1.5 Million. If Nat loves the club as much as he likes to let on, he'll know 1.5 is way overs for him. He hasn't shown he's worth that much anymore. You pay it!
You wouldn't put it past Eddie going all in and trying to pinch a flag with pendelbury (sp?) He has the nuts to try and pull that off.Yes. They have a heap of capspace after trading cloke & losing swan last year
2015 Fyfe no problem I would pay it. I just can't help bit get a little disappointed when looking at Nats while situation, No offence to Fyfe but the way this whole contract saga has played out has given me a Fyfe-FIGJAM vibe.True he's not worth $1.5 at the moment
I don't think he's what they need at all though. The 1.5 a year that will be necessary to get him over would be better spent on something more for their average forward line. It's legit up there with ours as the worst in the league. You wouldn't put it past Eddie going all in and trying to pinch a flag with pendelbury (sp?) He has the nuts to try and pull that off.
Not saying I think nat will end up there

I may be off but I'm really bullish or Moore. And think Fasolo Is good as well. I think they are ok if the midfield is fantastic.I don't think he's what they need at all though. Yeah but Moore isn't going to dominate for another 2 or 3 years, I'm not sure spending all this cap space is essential right now. I just think Fyfes the wrong age profile for Collingwood and they're not that far ahead in terms of list profile for him to think they're that much closer to a flag. Just won't happen imo.I may be off but I'm really bullish or Moore. And think Fasolo Is good as well. I think they are ok if the midfield is fantastic.
If they got Fyfe as a free agent (massive offer) then trade this year's pick for a more developed forward?

Kelly aint lesser nothing.

Well he started it.You can tell we just lost with some of the crazy trade Fyfe ideas in here.
The guy is our captain! Our brownlow medalist! He's given both shoulders and 2 broken legs to this club! He has shown he can be the best player in the comp, and has the potential to get to that level again. And you know he'll always play to the best to his ability because he wouldn't let himself play any less. When Fyfe's ready to sign, and comes to the club with a $$ figure, you just shut up and pay him what he wants.

Now if he can hit his straps...
It's interesting isn't it. A quick peak and the stats just show how brilliant Fyfe was previously, because there's no doubt he's nowhere near his best yet his stats are still excellent when compared to other mere mortals.
Here's a few of interest:
* 8th for contested possessions in the league. Ahead of that beast Martin.
* Out of all the top 20 players for contested possessions, he is second for 1%ers.
* Out of those same 20 players he is well ahead with contested marks at 15. Next best is the much lauded Dangerfield and Martin on a paltry 10 each.
* Out of those 20 players he is 5th best with disposal efficiency! Oliver, Neale, Selwood and Pendelbury are ahead of him. No one questions their disposal.
He is down on tackles and clearances, but both of those possibly attributed to the fact he spends some time forward.
I'd like more output from him when forward.
He's definitely lost that spring and explosiveness, but he did break a leg twice, so we could probably give him until next year to get back to his best.
