You are just so very very misguided in your opinion. If a tackle is first laid on the SHOULDER, then sheer momentum/physics means there's a high chance it will end up hitting the neck or head.

Selwood DOES get tackled properly all the time. It happens. All it requires is the opposition to correctly apply it.

The mass hysteria surrounding the whole Joel Selwood "ducking" situation has reached plague proportions, to the point that people have completely lost all rational thought.

Using this weeks game as an example, every single free kick Joel got was 100% legitimate. That's a FACT. Anyone with the game recorded, I urge you to prove me wrong.

I'd be surprised if the majority of neutral fans wouldn't back Geelong over both Hawthorn and Sydney in a GF.

Never thought I'd say this but I'd be barracking for either Sydney or Hawthorn over Geelong... and I can't stand either of those teams.

But I've lost all respect for Geelong after the most blatant display of orchestrated free kick hunting I've even seen from a team. I thought the eagles of a few years ago were bad, but Geelong just took it to another level.

Hated for them a decade. Their diving/ducking/staging has been a blight on the game for a long, long time.

Clearly tonight showed that Geelong is most loved by the umpires and most disliked by opposition supporters.

I have a good feeling Geelong will be favoured again if we play in the finals, as it's quite clear (going by that footage), Fremantle can only subdue Geelong by scragging.
They changed it up in the final term when they realized they needed to start play attacking footy though.
