The Geelong Gumbies would officially like to welcome former Mt Buller Demons player CrowGirl74 to their list for next season....CrowGirl74 officially made her signing public after the Demons award night last night and she will be present at the club on grand final day, however she has decided against joining her new team mates in the rooms on grand final day as she doesnt want to take away from the special moment that the current list deserves, however she has stated she will be cheering the Gumbies on from the stand on grand final day.

We officially welcome CrowGirl74 as a new player for next season and we hope she enjoys her time at the Gumbies.

Ill let you all know now that yes i was interested in CrowGirl earlier in the season when she first signed up...I actually misse dout on signing her by 1 minute!!! But to her credit CrowGirl picked the Demons as they got in first.....I didnt approach her to sign for us for next season, she actally approached me which i find fantastic as it shows she wants to play for the soon to be premiers of the SFA - That said i would have approached her once our season was over anyway

Quality signing IMO - Has proven to be a decent poster and a handy player on the field aswell - Has alot of potential.

Well the prelim final has been run and won and the winner were the Furies....SO they are our opponent in the big one.

Furies have done well to make the 4 and then perform once again in the finals to make it to the last game of the season...They are a quality side and we certainly have to treat them with rsepect.

Big week on the training track this week lads, we have to be 110% Prepared for this one..

I have to say i'd prefer the bombers, because as Perth Swans said they (furies) have been in red hot form and it's gonna take a hell of a performance from everyone to win that premiership!

We've come so far Gumbies, and i believe we have what it takes to not fall at the last hurdle but to grab the Holy Grail! From day dot this season it has been our year! GG10!! has been in countless posts!

They may have got us in Round 21 but they will not have us in the Grand Final!
