Geelong rorting the system

Nah. There is something a little sad where every single day you feel compelled to post something in defence of something in response to comments made by complete strangers.
That was just barely english.

I'd hardly call mocking people like you screeching "rort!" a defence. I do find it fairly sad that these are the types of things that consume your football watching experience though. The irony should be clear when you feel compelled to converse with said strangers and repeatedly make it clear how upset you are about their football club's so called cheating. If whingers don't want baseless claims and emotional tantrums to be called out or mocked, the solution is abundantly clear. If, on the other hand, you are having a great time in this thread (rather than the "complaint line" it is turning into"), feel free to keep participating the same way. There's no need to pull out the victim complex when others respond.

It's a pretty transparent tactic to just flood the thread and drown out any comments from opposition supporters that are remotely critical of Geelong. Kind of sad all things considered.
Sure, but I have to laugh when you say ‘remotely critical’. Crikey- some of these posters are so obsessed, they are doing a thesis on Geelong. They’ll be getting an E minus.

Oh yeah, a ‘pay cut’. Will it be the same offer they gave Clarry? Never change Geelong.

What are you guys going to pay Oscar Allen? He’s allegedly looking for $1 million. But he might take less to go somewhere that isn’t losing every week.

Now that might sound like a stupid comparison on the surface. Maybe it is, given how abysmal Allen’s 2025 was.

But his two seasons before it, he kicked 73 goals in 34 games, in the worst team in the comp. 2.15 goals per game. They won 5 games and lost 29.

In Curnow’s last two seasons he’s kicked 89 goals in 39 games. 2.3 goals per game. Carlton have won 19 and lost 20 in that time.

Curnow will be 29 at the start of next year, Allen will be 26.

You’ve made the last two grand finals. We didn’t make the finals, made a prelim, and both teams’ season outcomes are still up in the air now.

You have a bunch of young players who are costing or will cost you a packet in the next few years.

So how are you going to afford that rort

Im 320 posts behind the chief serial denialist. And the top 4 are Geelong flogs racking up 1,000 posts between them.

That is an almighty circle jerk.
Pretty simple really.

We're merely mocking the losers in here who haven't figured out yet that nothing probative has been uncovered at this club. Even after some admin errors this year Caro makes it clear there's no indication of cheating. Mitch Cleary declares there's enough room for multiple stars. Jon Ralph praises the club for its prudent list management.

But nuffies insist something is afoot. So y'all are summarily mocked for it relentlessly.
Say stupid things and you get stupid responses.

Time to accept we're just an exceptionally well run club that is the envy of most in the industry.

Will you admit that you've had an easy fixture that helped you finish top 4?
I know I’m replying to days old post but we are 7-5 against teams we met twice and 10-1 against teams we met once.

If you can create a fixture for us that has us with less wins I would like to know.
We had 3 teams from last years top 6, which is the max.
Lions, GWS and Port.

If you could create our fixture with your choice of double up teams what would it be?

I don't know about who played twice or whatnot but Geelong had the 5th easiest draw by the end of the year.

Pretty sure you were rampantly posting all over social media (BigFooty, Reddit) how the Cats were and are still cheating…even when a routine audit proved it false you still didn’t accept the results and kept slandering.
Which is highly ironic when you support a club that has the “Club Statement” meme.

Why haven’t you addressed the fact you have nothing to back up any of your claims?

You’re worse than the old dustbag on aGeNda sEtTeRs

Geelong don’t control teams shitting the bed. They played Sydney and Port within a space of weeks of the last few rounds.

Those teams finished 1st and 2nd in 2024, what are they supposed to do? Time travel and adjust the fixture in hindsight?

That, and they want this to be the fight and take attention away from the fact Bomber (with his host of vintage motorcycle enthusiast acquaintances), Robinson, Dank, the chemist and the importer were all at Geelong for 3 or 4 years before WADAing over to Essendon.

Easy win for Geelong ITT, they Cats might make use of a few loopholes but not nearly as much as most, they're just better coached than nearly everyone.

Oldest rort in the book, refusing to use the time machine!

They've also failed to purchase a cursed monkey paw from a dusty curio shop in Ryrie Street, shonkily avoiding being cursed.

Finishing
So Geelong finishing second is rated as the second hardest game by opponents, but Geelong are not deserving of that ranking due to easy games that played against opponents whos position may also be questionable by whom they played. It's a circular argument that has no logic
