And speaking after the match, Scott said the uncertainty around the severity of Cameron's injury made a call on the sub, which is expected to be removed for 2026, particularly challenging to manage

It wouldn't matter if it did, we have so much soft cap space with most of Scotty's pay coming from his extracurricular jobs. I think he's only listed as a part-timer with Geelong FC.

If I, an employee of the Federal government was to accept a gift like what the players did here, and was caught.

I would be charged by the federal police with fraud for corrupt behaviour.
