Gees, first practice match of the year and Ross is already at his prickly, disdainful best.
Understand press conferences are annoying and you get silly obvious questions but wonder whether he really needs to be like that.
Last roll of the dice in 2016, will be prickly all year.

Dockers going flat out in the nab cup lmao

if dockers don't win the grand final this year. It means Lyon again has not learnt from previous years and is just stubborn.

I would have thought it just means they aren't good enough. You must rate Lyon the best coach ever if you think he has that much control of a side.

Thats ok. We can swap!

I reckon he'll stay with the Dees

Why would he wait, he would have been able to ask for what ever he wanted from them. I know they think he's once in a generation, they would do absolutely anything to get him to sign. The lure of money and finals have got him. If they manage to do a Bulldogs and hit the 8 there is hope but I can't see it happening anytime soon.

He isn't waiting until the end of the year at least. I reckon Pluggers 50% rule is probably about right though. He's on the cusp and teams will be telling him what a huge star he'll be at a bigger club. They will run marketing strategies and have players tell him how great the lifestyle is there.

I'm not sure he comes across as loyal. Bruce is a cocky swaggering type with a bit of a fig jam attitude. i have met him and he's friendly but aloof and a little prickly. I heard a story about him doing a recent school visit and not wanting anyone to touch him incase he caught the flu. He wouldn't even shake staff hands who were Saints fans. He didn't come across well. He's been friendly to my son though who is a big fan and jumped on him before he was any good. He's not an arseh*le by any stretch.

Working in the education sector, I can't blame him haha. If you enter a school, good luck getting out without the flu.

I think the staff were offended not the kids. I'm with him actually, having young kids at home is like removing your immune system.

Yeah true, as a huge Saints fan I would have been cut aswell. But he's just putting himself above others, which is a bit w***erish, but hey I don't want him wiped out for a week with the flu, so I understand.

P.S. I reckon Hogan's gone too, but he's contracted for 2017, so plenty of time for the dees pick up. Could be on the cusp of the 8 if all goes to plan for them

that's not good to hear about Brucey but I was talking about Hogan. Hogan seems the loyal type, to me at least. I've never spoken to the dude so he might not be. still reckon he'll stay

He's contracted for next year. What's the rush?

At least Bruce didn't go to a childcare centre. My son has snot pouring out of his nose like a slimy Niagara Falls all the time, thanks to the bugs they have there.

Well, thanks for sharing....

The longer it goes the more it gets talked about, Melbourne are not going to offer any more, the club will want him signed ASAP to avoid the media circus and the more other clubs think he is available the more crazy offers from outside pile up. If he signed up tomorrow Melbourne could probably front load more money this year.
