Swans 4 goals in 5 opening minutes , no more for the half and giants have kicked 9 in a row, lol, looks likes the Swans will be 0 - 5 . The most telling thing I thought as the Sydney players huddled up before heading off the ground at half time . The player who stepped up to talk to the players was young Mills not Kennedy , Franklin or one of their big names but a kid in his second year. Think that some up the way the Swans are playing , they are playing for themselves not the team.

Apparently, 12 players from Adelaide have hamstring soreness and are getting treatment after every session.

Another 2 players out with hamstring injuries today v the Suns.

Lol, or maybe those senior stars are encouraging the youngsters to take ownership and giving them space to do the things they probably did pre-draft in the hope that the team can benefit from an even spread. We did the same and that's how players like Newnes and Weller entered the leadership group. Didn't mean Roo and Joey were playing for themselves.

I think it's a bit of what Richo touched on, all the affirmation from the crowd noise the umps get. The few delayed frees that have occurred several seconds after incidents when the crowds have reacted makes me think this is a legit thing.

The sliding in rule is a good idea and i like the rule, but its a flip of the coin of which way it'll go each time.

That was horrendously embarrassing by North there.

One minute to go and they lead by a point and they only had one extra loose in defence when most teams would have 3/4 of their team back there to clog it up under those circumstances. Instead Kersten has all the space he needs to casually pick it up and snap the winning goal. No wonder they lose so many close ones.
