Surprise! Reardo may be gone but I'm still here! My executive call to cancel the show was a masterstroke as it gave me enough time to find a new guest and still put on a top quality interview. Interview standards may have dropped due to time constraints.

And tonight we celebrate brotherly love. A friend in need is a friend indeed and my buddy was able to come to the rescue the show. So tonight we celebrate everything Filthy and Furyious. My guest tonight is the most prominent player for the Fighting Furies. This week he was named captain of the Furies and he was last year's B&F winner. Ladies and gentleman on such short
notice, please welcome BILC to the show!

Thanks Chez, I know it was really short notice & me screaming down your throat about a red carpet probably didn't help the cause. But all's well that ends well, you've got a (very) high profile guest and I got to try out some of my latest death threats.

Yes indeed everyone's a winner here. But before we begin here I need to question you on how I should formally refer to you as. Does Mr. Cotchin suit? I mean you no longer go by that name so I wonder whether it is still appropriate? Why the change? Surely you haven't tired of watching Keira Knightly run around the soccer pitch with the other European fine ladies?

Don't get me wrong Chez, I'd love to throw one up Keiras tampon tunnel. And I wouldn't throw that middle eastern chick out of bed either but some things just have to be done. I felt that with all these ranking lists and all the lazy sods in the SFA it might work in my favor to have a shorter name that would be easier to slot into lists. Nah it was just too big really, everyone was calling me BILC anyway so it made sense.

Well you are a big list player. A few hard fought battle's with beez at the end of last year in Dub's power rankings for top spot. Did it have an impact on you when Gee Dub admitted he put you as #1 as a publicity stunt? Does it sort of make you wonder "these lists aren't about me, it's about the people
making them to get a few extra comments?"

Nah it didn't impact me to be honest, it was just a running the joke the whole trying to take number the one spot thing and I'm sure Dubz was just playing into this by putting me at number one. All of these lists are just opinion anyway so until we have a scenario where everyone puts together a top 20-30 and we tally the votes we won't have a true list of the SFA's favourite posters. Actually i might trademark that idea, anyone steals it and I'll hunt them down (looking at you WGS you intellectual property thief you).

Well WGS has rightly held down number 1 spot for a while now. You've been around here a while now, do you sense a changing of the guard in season 15? Guys like WGS, pants and puppet are really starting to challenge guys like Easty and yourself who have been the heavyweights here for a while. Do new impact players tend to put pressure on guys like you? It's almost as though you have a target on your back because everyone's gunning to be the best.

I wouldn't say changing of the guard, it happens every season, new guys come along and stamp themselves on the competition but the core group of posters from the last 2-3 seasons is still relatively unchanged. As for the newer guys putting pressure on me and other posters, I suppose it does but it's definitely not a bad thing if these guys come along and put pressure on guys to post a bit more just to keep up as it can only drive activity throughout the league even higher. So yes it does add pressure but it's not something I'd change if given the choice.

With that in mind, let's look at the change over at Furyland. Myself, blood, eagle, cutty and nuffers have all joined since the back end of season 14. It's a massive change in personell in the space of a relatively short time. How did you see the changes as a veteran Fury?

It's been great, we were really struggling for posters a couple of seasons ago but we've turned that around and find ourselves in a strong position now. We've got a great culture going on at the Furies now also, it's a really tight-knit group we've got together and I honestly couldn't see anyone on our list leaving to go to another club. Losing Fumbles obviously hurts but now we're in the position where we have the posting numbers to cover the loss, we certainly didn't a couple of seasons back.

Yes Fumbles was obviously a massive loss. You mention the times before the big boost in numbers. I remember a while ago on the short lived show "The Sunday Night Roast" (poor form Beez) you gave a very interesting take on the dark times of Furies under Equus. How close do you think the Furies came to folding, or at the very least opening up positions to the "lesser" members of the SFA.

There was never any actual talks between Furies leadership about folding or letting Mud-bloods join (Well not that I was involved in) but I think everyone had a fairly good idea that if things didn't turn around quickly something was going to have to be done.

And so we can safely say that the answer to said probelms were recruiting. Which leads me to my next point, many outsiders would not know this but prior to the season EagleOz started a new thread where the title advertised the Furies. The thread was up for about half day where we saw two new members, including Nuffers. Cutty joined the next day I think. Unfortunately the board only wanted one Furies thread and so they were merged. Do the results of this experiment tell us, that we should have a Furies sign up thread on the Richmond board and have our team thread on the SFA board?

No. Of course if someone posts a new thread it's going to attract short-term interest but having a sign up thread there would just end up doing the same job as the Furies team thread does. Also the Tigers board mods refuse to sticky anything Furies related so eventually a sign up thread would just get lost a few pages back without ongoing posts from team members. I honestly think the system we have at the moment is the most effective we could have.

Well somehow I don't think we've heard the last of this. But we do need to leave it there for the time being. Don't go anywhere folks, BILC is staying with us for his take on more SFA issues and the announcement of next weeks guest is coming up!

He's the reigning Mobbs meddalist and he's growing more fans by the day. Perennially underrated or not ready to take the next step? Gumby Claypigeon joins me next week as I ask him all the tough questions.

Clay gets ready for his close up as Chez can't work out how to make the damn picture smaller!

Welcome back everyone! We'll start from where we left off on the issue of Furies recruiting. I agree that the lack of stickys is disapointing, especially since they're willing to sticky Supercoach shit, this is just as relevant and would bolster our club I feel.

Yeah I get what the mods are trying to do by making us drive activity and keep it on the first page but I still think a sticky would be useful.

We also agreed that we cannot ignore the need for top recruiting. You said before how Furies have a fantastic culture, hypothetically if we were to open our doors to the mud-bloods, who would you go after? Who would you want? And who do you think would want to play for the Furies? KFC, cheerleaders and a stack of ripping blokes such as yourself, it's an easy sell I reckon and one a few would take up.

If we're talking a completely hypothetical situation of course we'd love to have a number of guys. beez is a poster I have a lot of respect for, he somehow manages to post a truckload without spamming, something not many can do. WGS is another one I'd love to play with, a very likeable poster with a creative flair. Outside of those two you've got IMS who's a guy you could build a team around and blokes like Duggan & Clarkey who drive activity. But realistically it's not going to happen, I think the Furies would fold or go into a Roys type hibernation before letting posters who support other teams join.

Yep some great posters there and most of them have appeared on my show proving only the best get a gig here on GFW. #****youbeez

One guy we did want however was the Big Bad Buddy. The club has obviously had it's differences with BBB and a sign of relief was breathed last week with the drama that BBB was the catalyst for. How did you see it all unfold BILC? Was BBB unlucky and how did you think the Dragons handled it?

I don't think he was unlucky at all, it was some pretty immature posting by not only him but some of his team mates also. I think he was let off fairly lightly and was lucky not to cop a suspension from the SFA brass. Good on RUL for not taking that shit, he'll be a better poster for it.

When you see things like this happen does it make you proud to be a fury? I mean our team has none of those infamous posters like an Andonis or a BBB that the other clubs need to "protect" to an extent. Is it simply that we're a bunch of awesome Richmond supporters or is there more to it?

Yeah I've thought about this before, we never seem to have any of these posters that seem to be universally hated. Maybe apart from TigerGlory but he was a Demons product and was actually not a bad poster it was just everyone being sheep and going along with it in an effort to gain popularity. Way too much of this sheep stuff in the SFA, it's always the same guys doing it too. You know who you are guys, the jigs up.

Well I happen to be a fan of jigs, so that's dissapointing. But you are correct, there do seem to be alot of sheep in here, which is a shame since it's a game that celebrates individuality and difference. This is an issue I posed to IMS last week and we talked about the need for a character. However you do walk a thin line as a new player of coming across as a major jackass. If you were to come in as a new player to the leauge with all your prior knowledge to the leauge just like Mr Zero (LOL it's still funny) how would you best get attention without being the village idiot of the competion?

Well I'm in the presence of the master here, remember how you took the competition by storm in the royal rumble Chez? Seriously though, you are one of very few that came in and started attacking people and it actually worked, it usually ends badly and I wouldn't recommend it. I'd just try and be likeable, get people to like you and you can get away with anything and all the sheep will still bow down.

It was a Rumble that you shyed away from BILC. In fact you don't seem to care much for the extra curricular activities around here do you? Did Gee Dub's horrendous Survivor scare you off them for good?

That I did Chez. Well I held my debate and everyone joined up and then didn't write anything, so I suppose it's a bit of a whinging protest. That and the fact that they rarely ever actually get finished, not many things do get finished around this place TBH, lots of these interview shows and other so called "weekly" things last about 3 weeks before going into the abyss. Kudos to anyone who can keep one going for a whole season. Looking at you champ.

Haha yes that is the challenge, luckily Reardo didn't cause too much damage to the future of GFW.

Personally I was very dissapointed that the debating didn't get up. I still adjudicate school debates and have heaps of fun with them, the SFA could've really made something of that one I think. But the main reason these games are created is because the off season may be too long. Should the off season be shortend, do you think things like SOO are needed?

No I think it's fine as is, if we start fitting in more seasons winning a premiership will become less of an honour. Keep it as is, keep the SFA, maybe a couple more marquee matches like Noobs V Veterans or an all-star match.

I think an All Star match would be good.

Here's a theory.

Mobbs medallist and Leading goal scorer to be captains.
Mobbs medallist gets first pick of the draft.
So the draft could go:
1. M
2. G
3. G
4. M
-------
5. M
6. G
7. G
8. M

etc.

Could set up two team threads for the two teams to gel as a playing unit before lineing up for the ultimate match.

The anticipation of the draft alone and the #1 pick would be fantastic itself.

Any merit?

All your ideas are great Chez, I'd love to see how a match with 2 super active teams would go. Can you actually have too much posting? I think that you could, too much going on in the one thread would just lead to it being a mega spam-fest and not much fun at all for the people who work for say 10 hours, come home and are 5 pages behind with no idea what's going on. Would be very interesting

I see the issue, but the GF threads are normally the best for the season because everyone gets involved. I think it would be worth experimenting with anyway. Keeping people involved in the off season can sometimes be an issue.

Speaking of Grand Finals, surely the Furies are due for one. Do you feel a bit of pressure leading the most successful club in the SFA? I mean we always go to extremes. Flag one year, spoon the next. Does it put alot of anxiety on you, our new skipper?

It really doesn't Chez, I can't affect the outcome a fantasy football game! Although I have been working on my sim rigging skills, I'll just wait for loopy to get tired of it and then HUZZAH! Back to the glory days!

Geeze can't you guys just supsend reality a little bit!!! GOSH!!

You've been a fantastic guest anyway BILC so thankyou for filling in tonight. But before I let you run off and continue your schemeing ways we have some Fury business to attend to.

I am ofcourse referring to the induction of another member into the Filthy Society.

Let's first look back on past winners

Round 1 - Mr Zero
Round 2 - Okeydoke7
Round 3 - Eth

Wow aren't there some abosolute filthys on that list! And I bet you all know who will be joining him. And your right, last week a huge injustice that brought the SFA into disrepute was seen last week. You all know what I'm reffering to. The reaction to these actions were just as deplorable, the mods did nothing and the leaders of said club did not flicker an eye lid. I am ofcourse speaking of captainblood17 offering his services on RoaringUniLions new show! Not only has blood shown know support for his teammates' innovative new show, he has gone to the enemy to hinder the Fury monopoly on SFA media.

It is only fitting BILC that you deliver his rating, but really there is only one correct answer here.

SPOTLESS - CLEAN - NEUTRAL - DIRTY - FILTHY!

Filthy to the power of 3!

And there you have it. What a fitting way to end the show. Let's give another round of appluase for filling in tonight on short notice.

Thanks Chez, was a pleasure.

Don't forget to tune it next week as GFW heads to Geelong for an exclusive chat with the reigning Mobbs Medallist Claypigeon!

Thank you and goodnight!

Good show, would watch again. Guys, it wasn't my fault. I followed a trail of beer cans and empty pizza boxes into a room, there was hookers, blow, free chicken, shit went crazy. I think I lost like 72 hours i can't account for. What happened?

Strange the lack of replies in here. Is it the case that the SFA can have too much of a good thing?

Was a good read this one, made me realise that BILC and I have similar thought processes and play the same role at our respective clubs.

The 'Like' button has probably deprived this thread of a few "I like this" replies.

For what it's worth I like this.
