Wouldn't it by tragically ironic if Duncan comments that we are a destination club and then leaves for somewhere else + we can't trade anyone in.

Also, regarding the actual Duncan situation, my take is that it was asked last year, the media keep bringing it up and Clayton keeps responding 'yes, we'd love Mitch, we asked about him last year. We're looking at a complex trade. We want a best 22 player for GAJ'.

Then the media reports it as 'GC want Mitch Duncan for GAJ'.

Can Troy Menzel be saved as a player? I realise this is the opposite direction the Menzels appear to be going from Geelong but I'd have loved to have seen both play in the same team.

If they go missing for a half each that's one full Menzel in a game. Six goals, 25 touches, handy haul from Menzel Voltron each week.

If he's available and cheap, we should definitely look at him.
