I know the player in question had retired, but would the playing group forgive those actions or have they moved on - thought he might still be on the outer with the playing group
That was my first thought as well to be honest

is what would be the post if you are wells.
No way am I Wells but list management has been my passion since I was 8 years old.

Wells is the best in the game bar none and the fact some of our supporters have called for his head is disgusting!

3 flags in 10 years and outside of Thompson, Cook and Costa, which man deserves the credit more than Wells?

At what point did we become Collingwood fans? (No disrespect)

Wells is the GOAT but if I worked in list management I would be second in the GOAT poll. ;)

I'm modest but honest.

I've been thinking of starting a thread but I don't feel like I have established myself enough on this board.

The reason I've never posted much is I truly believe the GFC bigfooty board is extremely knowledgeable, well moderated and even has a few legit sources.

Most of my posts were on the Melbourne board, the Goode's Collingwood threads and the HTB.

I'm posting now because I don't watch TV and I live, eat, breathe and shit Geelong Football Club and Charlotte basketball.

I have officially given up hope of getting Stringer now… Tom Browne saying that Stringer’s Essendon nomination will be official tomorrow.

I just don’t understand why he can’t come to Geelong

Maybe because he's a knob???

Just go for it, we already have a few Wells' Toast threads lying around another one wouldn't hurt and during the last pre-season a glorious in "Wells we bust" that could also be revisited.

Did Colin Carter let the cat out of the bag for our trade period plans tonight?

Are we changing tact and rebuilding?
Would be interesting to see the actual words he used but I read the tweet quite differently - softening the blow of not getting trade targets this period. "Dumb decisions" = Stringer?

I thought the story was as follows.
Once upon a time a young Bundy got a girl from a Racing Stable knocked up which caused issues with some rather dangerous individuals.

Meanwhile, and totally unrelated, feeling the pressure to improve the next season to keep his job, Western Bulldogs coach Brendan McCartney realised that he needed an experienced big body to help strengthen his young defence.

So he offered his friend and former charge Tom Lonergan a very lucrative contract to switch clubs. Knowing that he was near the end of his career, Tom was tempted to “cash in” and make as much money as possible before retirement, and would enjoy being back with his former mentor.

Meanwhile, (and totally related), Ryan Griffen expressed the senior Bulldog players’ frustration with McCartney’s style of coaching by requesting a trade, a decision which ultimately led the board to sack McCartney, and by extension quash any suggestion Lonergan had of leaving Geelong.

The end.

Potentially.. the word rebuilds caught my attention really

The club, unlike most punters, has viewed itself as rebuilding continuously since 2011.
