Expectations are that we make top 4 next year with Cameron, Smith and Higgins. If it doesn't happen we have just paid an enormous price.

Thats true..its a very gutsy move..i can only think richmond said no to an FR2 for the trade..time will tell whether it will be worth it.

He's not putting it on him. But Scott is responsible for team position and that determines our draft pick. If we don't make top 4 again next year, this is a bad trade. It's up to Scott to achieve that.

No one knows where anyone is going because no one, including recruiters, know anything about 50% of the draftees.

Trading future draft capital is a huge strategic error. Hope I'm wrong on this.

He really wasn't worth a Future 1st though...our Future 1st was worth Collingwood's Pick 17 easily...could even have tried trading with GWS. Just insane that we would make that much of an effort to trade up when it wasn't the Geelong through and through kid.

Love Wells and trust him most of the time, but this one I just don't understand.
