I know they have a list squeeze but far better for them to take Ladhams to convince him he is their no.1 ruck for the moment even if they burned pick 19
He'd never be #1 ahead of Witts.

Don't think he will do itWas mentioned to me today that Cameron Ling may be a chance for an assistant coaching role.

Firstly, I don't mean to be racially insensitive to the 'gorilla' reference. I saw Leek Alleer play SANFL league this year for Central Districts and he's an absolute gun KPD. He's currently 196cm and 84kg so needs some time in the gym, but that's a good height.

Petracca was not ever average.Just would like to add to Charlie constable post from b4, as an Australian one thing that was a given in our country and culture
was that it was a place where you would be given a fair go, i think Charlie has now earnt his right to be given a fair go heaps of
other players who are now or were involved at cats including coaches were given a fair go.
Who knows Charlie may be able to get the ball b4 petracca no one knows when its the real thing, he might not too, but we just don't know,
remember petracca was average and now in the convo with martin, Charlie doesn't appear to be in their class true, but he may be able to
get the ball before they do in the guts. Past premiership players at the cats were played and learnt their mistakes, they were given a fair go.
Nice highlights package there. There's a bit of Blicavs in his ability to get into good positions in front of the forwards.
Yes but doesn’t he come with baggage!Tyson Stengle the best mature small forward outside the AFL, any interest.
Seen him play a few times over the years, good player, not sure I saw the the over the top excitement others are showing on here, definitely chance though. Actually not sure everyone pumping him up has even seen him at all, Turbocat provided us with a mountain of posts wanting him and a lot jumped on.Won't go in the top 30 I'm pretty confident to say that, is in the next group of probably 50 players fighting for about 25 spots on lists.
Callum Twomey and Chris Doerre are two who know what they are talking about that have him unranked so alot would have to change for him to suddenly be taken earlier, especially when hes hardly played footy in 2 years.

Can I take the doomsday option?According to the Fox Footy team:
GEELONG CATS
Ideal trade scenario: They demand a pick in the teens for Jordan Clark and get it from Fremantle, re-entering the first round, while the Magpies are willing to give up a future third-round pick for fringe tall Nathan Kreuger - and after a poor 2022 for the men in black and white, that ends up being a late-30s selection. The Cats even find a suitor for Charlie Constable in a clogged midfielder market, adding another pick in the late 30s/early 40s for a bloke with five games in two seasons to his name. The three departures open up just enough space for the Cats to launch a move for Port Adelaide’s Peter Ladhams, who wants greater opportunity in the ruck, and could solve their long-running issues at the position. Daniel Talia joins as a delisted free agent on the cheap and successfully replaces the retired Lachie Henderson.
Doomsday trade scenario: The Dockers hold firm on their low-ball offer for Clark, and with the defender-wingman unwilling to stay, the Cats relent and accept pick 27. They’re unable to work out a deal with the Magpies and Kreuger walks for free via the pre-season draft, while they can’t add any more picks to their arsenal, keeping them out of the Ladhams race.

Yes but doesn’t he come with baggage!
Very very smart football brain Linger. Shit commentator. Was mentioned to me today that Cameron Ling may be a chance for an assistant coaching role.
Henry isn’t a key position defender not against the big boys, he is the one that peels off and third man up. Stewart is the rebound defender likes to play off his man. You need the the bulls to play tight against the key position players.KPD's:
Blicavs
SDK
Kolo
Other defenders:
Tuohy
Stewart
Guthrie
Bews
Atkins
O'Connor
Henry
Henry and Stewart are capable playing key defensive positions as well. We don't need cooked potatoes like Talia on the list.
Yep annoying commentator.Very very smart football brain Linger. sh*t commentator.

Ruck option
David King is not happy at all with this post!Red flag when blokes who get given the arse get analysis roles, if they had any idea they'd still be in the role lol.
For such a good player SOS talks a horrendous amount of sh*t aswell.
The small amount I have heard him on 774 broadcasts he has been fine. But only small sample size.Very very smart football brain Linger. sh*t commentator.
Underestimating Talia alotI think Talia is 29 in Dahlhaus years, not Tom Hawkins years.
On this episode of the Bigfooty Draftcast, The_Wookie hosts a 3 round phantom draft for our draft experts eDPS, ModernArtillery, Pie 4 Life and PMBangers to participate in, each taking 4 clubs and running through selection-by-selection. Who does your club pick? Which fans will be the most outraged? Where does BigFooty's Own Neil Erasmus (BFONE for short) get selected? Listen through to find out, and hear the rationale of the selections for your club!
All selections, and club allocations can be seen here;
Questions for the listeners;
Is there anyone you would have preferred at any of your selections?
Who were the bolters and sliders?
Who were some of the players that missed out that shocked you?
Think pick 37 we take Tom GillesHey Cats fans,
Draft Experts eDPS, ModernArtillery, Pie 4 Life and PMBangers recently took part in a phantom draft for the draftcast! feel free to listen and direct all criticisms to the draftcast thread, specifically PMBangers who selected for you
While true, the injuries this year were knee and foot relatedI think Talia is 29 in Dahlhaus years, not Tom Hawkins years.
Haven’t they seen enough of constable? He doesn’t have any spread and he only gets link up in close type handballs in congestion. In my opinion if it means anything, Charlie Con needs a block of 8 games promised barring injury etc, to end this debate of if he is afl standard.
The bottom line is we all really still don't know, if not delist now and stop wasting everyones time including charlies, it is reported his low tank,
well we need to see his low tank, or if he can overcome that with smart play, we just don't know including coaches, the coaches think they know
but do they really, heaps of players in comp have surprised at next level, play him or delist and maybe get embarrassed, he won't be reason we lose
games there are 21 others if he can't pull his weight.
