Have you actually watched our vfl games to look at how many ruck contests he is attending? Fort is a journeyman and Jenkins despite his good form wont be on our list next year..if we were grooming SDK to be a ruck hed be playing more ruck minutes ahead of them and he isnt. It doesnt look like we are developing him as a ruck in the short term.

Yep, and have watched training. He’s a long term prospect. He’s athletic, and over 200cm. He’ll end up a 10 year ruckman. It honestly mate, I’m not about to go to war and argue this point. It’s funny, this board has so many people who, when someone has an opinion they don’t like, will argue black and blue, with no proof or logic half the time. No point having arguments. Simply have stated my opinion based on what I’ve been told and what I see.

The Blicavs comparison is apt as for ages there was a bunch of people insisting he MUST play at full back at all costs. There’s been pockets of it recently too.

And now we’ve got absolute proof SDK will spend 10 years at full back because he played his last VFL game (or two) there after playing all over the park since March.

He's not particularly athletic. Moves ok but has a below average vertical. Moving him into ruck takes away all his advantages

Liam Duggan is a gun player imo, if we could get him, l doubt that, but l think he's just had knee surgery in any case wouldn't be able to contribute at least this year.

If C.Guthrie walks at the end of year because we can't afford his demands and we have committed to this sh#t truck for 3 years (and he will be on decent coin) it will embarrassing to say the least. In fact it will be incompentent.
