Just going off Cal T’s tweet.

If it works out that way port are getting a steal.
Wce are doing ok-i still reckon they should have got an extra 2nd for giving up 2 but its not terrible.
Gws pay a bit to move up as they need cadman.
North getting less than jhf is worth i reckon they got shafted.

The MEGA DEAL has been done

Thats interesting because gws wont be using 53 and 57 imo they have that many picks before that (especially once hopper is done) so they must have a plan to on trade them.

Port only have 33 and 60 left to trade for sav as they cant trade their fr2 (i dont think).

Thats a great deal for North. GWS wanted a particular player that I am not convinced North were taking, now they get the 2nd and 3rd best players available.

That means North will train up 2 players before they want to head home in 2 years instead of 1.

Mmmm, I'm not so sure about this one...it's all been a bit odd this trade period. Bruhn the only straight forward one, but everything else, it's been strange...Even Cleary said it would be done on late Friday/early Monday...yet today, crickets. Really strange.
It's all part of it. Keeps everyone tuned in and guessing until Wednesday.

Bit of light at the end of the tunnel now. Geelong clearly had to wait for a few cards to fall and it appears they now have.

So it looks like Pick 25 and 33 to Collingwood, with (I'm spit balling) a pick to come back to Geelong from Collingwood. Looks like Sav was going to be allowed to go regardless, so in the overall scheme of things, I don't think this is too bad a deal for all concerned. Sav finds a new home for more game time - Collingwood get something to stop supporters going feral (more feral) - and Geelong land Henry and complete an outstanding trade period for a side still fresh off a flag win.

And we go to the draft with a top 10 pick + potentially bring in Hamling (or a similar type) for cover down back.

If we get the three kids + 7 + keep F1 Mackie and Wells have done well.

The only issue is we arent using more than 2 picks imo so if we end up with 7 25 and 33 33 is dead to us. So i reckon we only trade sav if theres a pre agreement with coll eg 25 and 33 for henry and 41-7 and 41 as our 2 picks.
Or we only take 33 if theres a club that will buy it off us for a future r2/3 which would be better to give us a future pick.
I’d then trade it with 25 to pies for Henry then they can try and upgrade it

I cant help but wondering .... a country kid in the draft compared to Cameron will now be picked by GWS ....

just what do we see as the long term out come here?
How close to Geelong was Cadman born?
