Then I suggest a fair trade,
JUH to Sydney,
Heeney to Geelong,
Whatever pick we end up with this season to the Bulldogs.

JUH to Sydney to get away from the spotlight seems a little strange but as Buddy and other s have shown … the lower afl profile can work for a player looking for shade. Probably work for others too. If the Dogs are after Rowell or the Lions are lookin for a forward replacement. Does anyone in Syd know any GWS players?

The things…atm what would JUH be worth

JUH to Swans
Warner to WC/Freo
picks etc to the Dogs?

not only do i think we dont have the room in the cap to fit him in. we dont hae enough assets to trade once carlton matches any FA offers.

I think we have the cap room but we won't be willing to pay tdk what it would take to get him here.

My mate, who is a big Saints fan, sees a lot of Justin Koschitzke in TDK, thinks he will have a few seasons in the ruck where he looks close to being the next Max Gawn, but just doesn't think his contract or money will justify it.

Thinks each year we will see a 6-8 game purple patch where he dominates and everyone says "next big thing" and then either gets injured, or drops off, or suspended. Its always something.

Will be interesting to see if thats how it plays out, if anyone is going to be good at spotting unrealised potential it'll be a Saints fan.

If he has 6-8 game purple patch each year, followed by injury or form loss, wouldn’t that just make him the next Stanley?

Or Gulden?
Australian Crawl was right. Errol is THE one. Cats knew it from the start.

You can't manufacture that ability to find the ball, then find space, then find a yard to break free, and ultimately find a target in amongst a nest of defenders.

He is a special player and I would take him over Heeney or Warner, despite rating both of them highly as well. If you have that measure of quality delivering the ball to a capable and potent forward line, I figure Robert is your mother's brother.

Been a while but letting everyone know we are still sniffing around Bont. Not sure if this will come out at all in the media but we are trying…

How does Bont and Smith get along?

CATS SET TO SECURE NEALE DEAL

GEELONG is close to locking away a key part of its forward line, with Shannon Neale on the cusp of inking a three-year extension. The deal, which will take Neale through until 2028, will ensure the 203cm marking target's future at GMHBA Stadium until he hits free agency...

...A deal for the West Australian will precede an important year on the contract front at Geelong, with the club also hoping to secure deals for fellow young guns Sam De Koning, Ollie Henry and Ollie Dempsey among others, with Toby Conway on the verge of a new two-year deal.

But as revealed by AFL.com.au earlier this year, last year's Rising Star winner Dempsey is already in talks with Cats officials on a new contract extension. – Riley Beveridge

Craig Bellamy is recognised as one of the best, most successful coaches in sport.

They interviewed him not long ago.

He, and others, attributed his, and the club's, success to a strict adherence to the motto 'character first, talent second'.

The GFC has said something similar in times by, and I hope they abide by that criteria.

Bringing people in with serious character flaws goes against that. Imo, recruiting people with any serious question on their character erodes the playing group, and the club, even if subtle and imperceptible.

Pass.
Who would have thunk it? ;)
