Blicavs means we don't need to draft a spud ruck.
Stanley, Blicavs, SDK, Conway, Edwards, Pike, Neale as pinch hit.
We have enough ruckman on the list.
Not going to get anyone better than the first 3 in the rookie draft.
Hopefully Kolo gets back to full fitness which gives us more flexibility with SDK & Blitz.
Maybe Gubby and SOS misunderstood when they were told "no trading future picks"?

We are going to all look back at this St Kilda off season in about 4 years and just laugh at how badly they have ****ed it up.
Massive overs for players, burned bridges with both players and clubs.
The constant irrelevancy they are stuck in has made them well and truly jump the shark.
And the worst of it is I don't think they have moved the needle at all, they will finish at best somewhere between 6-10th and be an absolute no show in the premiership discussion.

Sydney won trade period. St Kilda havent moved the needle.
Some draft experts are calling this the worst draft in history.
A pick 25 plus 40 odd next year is just not worth much.
We get to retain a bloke that has been one of our best players for the last 6 years on a very small salary the next 2 years.
It really shouldn't be staggering.
The day that Mackie told St Kilda Pick 19 was going to be offered for Curnow was the day St Kilda pulled out their $ to Leek Aleer..... Think they made the call that day...
Doesn't make logical sense, but Ross Lyon is in control and he sent Luke Ball to the draft, and even if you manged to lock Ross Lyon in a cupboard, the next in line are Steven Silvagni and Gubby Allen.

No if we really want to you can do that on draft night.
Disappointing that we didn’t land Marshall but tempered by the fact that the Hawks are the biggest losers from trade period. 
I think we offered as much as we could, St Kilda wanted to bait us into using a future 1st which was just too risky

Nah. We clearly didnt want to lose the future 1st when butters is coming home and it's a better FA pool next year. You can get rucks cheap but elite midfielders cost a bomb and we need them.

We can try, but nobody is going to want it.
We'd be trading it for a F2 unless someone gets reaaaaaallly desperate on draft night, which with this crop is unlikely.
Just have to back Wells to find a player. There will be one there, there always is.
