I've got my piece of the stadium - a 12 seat-long dining table made from the timber bench seats in the original Hickey Stand

Something slightly different, but thought this be may interest to some - we'll have a new playing surface next year, so here's a chance to own a piece of the current surface:

The Melbourne Renegades are giving fans the chance to take home a genuine slice of the action at GMHBA Stadium, with a unique post-match experience at the club’s second Geelong home game in BBL|15.

The Take Home Turf Party will see supporters invited onto the ground following the final ball of the Renegades’ December 21 fixture against the Hobart Hurricanes for an on-ground celebration where fans can collect their own piece of GMHBA Stadium turf.

With major resurfacing works planned by Kardinia Park Stadium Trust (KPST), the opportunity arose for the Renegades to turn the end-of-season turf replacement into a memorable post-match fan moment.

With a limited quantity of 500 available, the Take Home Turf Party will leave fans with a piece of sporting history from GMHBA Stadium specially carved out by curators as a memento.

Hopefully some better drainage is in the works.

I can never really remember KP being a mud pit. I remember the Saints used to actually overwater their old home ground at Moorabbin with the express intent of it becoming a dank mud pit.

I don't think we ever did that:D

Working on together. Immediate concerns being connectivity.
Well I'll be... Incumbent on the club to take issues with connectivity seriously. Who'd have thunk it :embarrassedv1:

More broadly on his chat about fan engagement. Boy are our efforts in fan engagement cringe as ****.
QT dimmies song. Previous years have had a shit ferries 3QT offering.

I did smirk entering from the main gate on the St.Mary's side where the line was quite long and the express lane was barely quicker than the bagged lane, and the "super dooper fan experience" DiDi line was slower than both. Hearty smirk.
