I think we could. If Geelong can keep under the salary cap we can. Pavlich & Sandilands are both on $900,00pa or something close. When Pavlich signs again it would only be @ about $500,000.00pa and when he goes on the veterans list that gets reduced further. Some goes for Sandi. Hill will not be getting anything close to a big salary unless he toughens up big time. Mundy won't be getting any more than he is now next time around.

I think it's possible to get two big names like Goddard & DalSanto. The guys who handle the payments are just going to have to tell a few players a few home truths.

We wont have to give up anything, that's the beauty of free agency. The Saints sound like they wont be able to match many decent offers.

I think our midfield may be less disfunctional if we can keep them on the park next season. I can't recall Mundy, Barlow, Suban, Lower and Sandi lining up at the same time. Add Morabito to that mix and we look a bit stronger.

You forgot Fyfe and Hill. And probably Broughton and Ballantyne and DeBoer. If they're all on the park together, we'll have improved straight away.
