The TAB can absorb it regardless of tomorrows outcome considering the poor percentages they offer and the amount they skim from the pools on the races.

While some things arent connected often unrelated events can highlight percieved short commings or anomalies.

Listening to talk back radio and reading some of the threads on this forum it is obvious that a lot of people (besides freo supporters) have noticed Fremantle getting some pretty rough treatment over the years. The fixturing has been plain wrong, our free kick count is nearly always less than our opponent. To quote CC today he said 'if a someone who knows nothing about AFL followed the stories about Fremantle they could conclude we are 16th on the ladder then daylight. Well we are 6th and doing ok'

Mabey this set of events and general publicity about our Club might cause some to see us in a new light and appreciate that we are one of the AFL's financial success stories and at the current rate of off field success (membership) wiil become one of the powerhouses. We also have a management team that is both astute and credible.
