Good win Saints. Last year, I said that I saw something at Hawthorn that I hadn't seen for a long time. Its very simple, its called "purpose". StKilda have that look at the moment.
Its desperation . I hope my Hawks can feild a full strength team soon enough, to get back into the eight and even further up the ladder. They are young and still developing so hopefully they have some big years in front of them.
But you Saints have been up and about for a long time and you guys look very very dangerous this season, this could be the one .I'm not being a bullduster I mean it. I saw
purpose in our kids last year and they pulled off the biggest shock ,and if I'm honest perhaps we were a tad early. Obviously I want my side to win a flag again and we will
don't doubt that, and soon too. But yor Saints look frightening, and they have that look in the eye. Good luck .

Well done tonight. Outstanding contested ball and worked hard and as a team all night. Some of your ''average'' players have really stepped up since last I saw them. Guys like Gwilt, Clinton Jones, Geary kept on running, Gilbert also has taken a step, even a guy like Farren Ray. Backline was gelling very well as well. Clearances were exceptional. You guys really killed us there.
