Nah, you could put a mix of Leigh Matthews, Kevin Sheedy, Mick Malthouse, Norm Smith, Tommy Hafey and every other amazing coach at the helm of Melbourne and we'd still be shite. It's the cattle Bailey has to work with. Give him 3 years at the very least.

He inherited this mess, give him a chance to build his own team. Would be a leap backwards if the club sacked him 8 games into his association with the club

ok, fair enough not even Johnnie Cochran could defend that. With those sorts of numbers you have to drop him just on principal to let other ruckmen have a chance but don't hold your breath BC. Whether you like it or not the other ruckmen are not as good as Jamar at the stopages. Yes, PJ or Meesen deserve a go and will do more around the ground but 1 bad (shocking ) game by the Russian against a top class outfit is not totally unexpected.

melbourne was never gonna win the free kicks today but the discrepany was too large, what is annoying me is the media again says nothing. i was watching the game on fox and the commentators were explaining hardly any frees, its almost as if they didnt know why adelaide was getting soft frees as well, but as usual they dont speak. No wonder melbourne is doing shite....!!!

Back on topic - No-one can doubt that Jamar tried his guts out yesterday. He put in everything he physically had and I thought he put alot of pressure on the Crows without actually getting possession of the footy. I think he will keep improving as the year goes on

Its Robertson, and Jamar was useless. For all those who said PJ should have not been back this week to replace jamar just shows how little about football you know.
