Goodbye to you all

After some truly monumental stuff-ups of truly Homer Simpson -esque proportions, it was politely suggested to me that I might like to look for work elswhere.

So I have taken this rather unforunate set-back and turned it into a positive.

From tomorrow I will no longer be the Sydney Office Librarian for Baker and McKenzie Solicitors. I have decided to turn my back completely on the Corporate lifestyle and will now be driving a Delivery Van for my wife's wine company to earn a crust.

I'm swapping the Office for a Van, the computer for a clipboard, and the Versace for King Gee ... I can hardly wait to tell you the truth !

So I will not be able to access the Internet at all from 5pm tomorrow, so that means no more BigFooty

I would like to thank everyone here on BigFooty for being my friend over the last 2 1/2 years.

I won't mention individuals, but you have all been fantastic people to talk with and I have gained a much deeper appreciation not only for Football but for many of Lifes other little mysteries as well.

I hope to have a home computer soon, and of course I will sneak a look at BF via Internet Cafes when I can as well.

... but in reality, you will not see very much of me at all in the near future.

Untill I can get back on - Thanks for everything, its been quite a journey

Tough luck/Good luck BSA. I had the same dilemma here at my work a couple of weeks ago. Things were getting dodgy here, so I was considering quitting (which would have meant no internet!).

One of the only things that kept me here was the fun/soap opera that is Bigfooty.

But anyway, Best of luck BSA, liked reading your posts over the months....

I work with kids, offices are (thankfully) totally foreign to me now. So yeah I can understand your excitement at no longer being cooped up in one!!!!!!
