16. Josh Sinn rated top 5 early in the year has dropped because of injury and not getting games this season due to Covid I see him playing in defence in the VFL to start he’s playing career and a replacement for Robinson on the wing in latter years with he’s pace.


Was looking at Chesser but was gone by pick 20 so I traded down because I rated players in the 2nd round
Drafted Tom Brown as that running shutdown defender that I rated quite highly he’s is who I would have preferred at pick 20 so being able to add another player to the list and getting Brown I feel was a good trade

Blake Howes I see as that half-forward midfielder that allows the Lions to play Rayner as a midfielder it also adds two Dragons to the likely Ashcroft pick up next year

pick 78 - Hawthorn - Shay Linke - Central Dist - 190cm 79kg

a player i've liked for a while, also thought he played well in the SA team, being emergency for the 1st game and then doing well in game 2 and 3 of the series, also had a run of games in the SANFL where he was a role player, i think he is worth a shot on a list to see if he develops his game as he has potential.

i went a bit heavy on the mids and got a quality medium forward, i wish i had got Curtis and Ferres, i was not expecting Soligo and Linke to be available so late either, so i went a bit crazy with 7 picks and 6 mids.

Pick 79 - Carlton - Jack Avery - Claremont (defender)

I was really torn here between Ethan Regan and Jack Avery. Both have genuine AFL traits. I went with the intercepting defender as I think it's a nice pick to match with Gorringe. His state games were solid highlighting his consistency and attack on the ball. He's not afraid to run off and take the game on, but also knows when to help out his teammates.
