Is that more that the small forwards turned up or Ladhams actually impacting comparative to McLean?
Sheldrick is better than Adams give me him over Adams ever day of the week for Sydney, unless your bringing in Adams over Corey Warner who looks in a stinker run of form I'd hate to see them chuck Gus to the curb after providing fit in the first half

Adams for jmac and Buller for Amartey but will be McLean
Ladhams didn't kick a goal had 1 tackleBit of both but Ladhams is a significant upgrade. Bag Pete for whatever but you can’t fault his effort every week. McLean dead set mopes around when he isn’t marking it.
Ladhams didn't kick a goal had 1 tackle
McLean last week kicked a goal and had 2 tackles
I don't think my analysis is too strong but it points to more so the small forwards turning up
Mills needs to play a full game imo in the 2s
McLean 9 pressure acts in rd9Ladhams may only have had a tackle but he was always running and at least putting in the effort that’s all I ask. I don’t ask much just put in the effort. The small forwards doing something did help though
Yep. Amazing how quickly some forget the negative impact we've had with playing underdone/unfit players, especially with all the noise that this board has made about it in the past. Mills looked good in a half, but needs to play at a decent standard for a full game first.I would play both wouldn’t necessarily play Adams in the centre anyway though we could with Heeney being a pseudo full forward for a few weeks. I wouldn’t be playing Mills that’s asking for trouble he was on restricted minutes
McLean 9 pressure acts in rd9
Ladhams 10 pressure acts in rd10
McLean averages 8.3 pressure acts this season down on previous years
Ladhams averages 6.4 pressure acts this year
The stats don't add up with your opinion

Out: Amartey Francis Jmac
In: Buller Adams Florent
Sub: Hanily
Sheldrick and Adams can help Isaac play more forward as we've both said.
I think he might. With the option to sub him out (assuming no injuries) & thereby not play the full game, I think Cox will roll the dice and bring Mills in this week.
No your argument is just getting destroyed through statistics right in front of you.You forget one stat
Amount of times McLean mopes around- every other time.
He is turtle slow. Look ideally you’d play none of these two and Francis but I’m definitely going Ladhams over those two he’s less likely to annoy me
I think he might.
But it shows we haven't learned any lessons.
We didn't/couldn't sub him off last year when we should have, so I don't know why this is considered any kind of plan.
SubI’d be more inclined to bring Adams back than Mills still feel we need to have Mills play a FULL reserves game first (this week). Look at him coming back in 2 weeks with JMac too and maybe Melican
I love that turn of phrase! Perfectly put.Campbell ...I feel like he is biting off less than he can chew.
I sadly feel the sameAdams for jmac and Buller for Amartey but will be McLean
I actually think it might be time for Corey to have a rest. Get him back in the 2s and let him get a bit more of the ball. His pressure is fine, but he needs to be able to get the ball more often and most important out of it all, not turn it over.Sheldrick is better than Adams give me him over Adams ever day of the week for Sydney, unless your bringing in Adams over Corey Warner who looks in a stinker run of form I'd hate to see them chuck Gus to the curb after providing fit in the first half
Didn't make the highlights package, so did it really matter that much?IMO the period that won us the game was on the back of a five or ten minute period late in the third when our pressure just broke Carlton. You could see the fight leaving their players, happening in real time, and they never recovered, even after the 3QT break. It reminded me of the GF ambushes we've faced where the game basically slips out of our grasp in the blink of an eye because of some sustained pressure on us.
Campbell, Cleary, Warner Jr, Wicks etc were amazing in this period. We don't win without them.
Guarantee it makes the highlights package in the team meeting tomorrow.Didn't make the highlights package, so did it really matter that much?
