Cox kinda admitted Armatey’s guilt in his press conference.

The Swans Lionel Hutz / Dennis Denuto now faces mission impossible.
Finding in general Cox is a lot more open in the press conferences than Longmire was. It’s good for a Swans fan but sometimes I wonder if he’s letting on a bit too much.

Pistol Pete is the second coming of Cam Sinclair. Comparable players with an awkwardness to them that you don’t trust the disposal but pretty big hearts.

Number one thing for me is that he has not shown any of that brain fart discipline that made me want him nowhere near it. He is going to give a few ruck frees away but he isn’t going to shirk it either. Good on him for getting the most out of himself.
And was difficult conditions for a big man last night. We look a better team with him playing and Grundy benefits greatly from having a proper back-up. Needs to stay in the team.

He gives solid insight without giving too much. I like it, I think he's measured and a breath of fresh air for the supporters. I got to the point where I stopped watching Longmire pressers, waste of air time. We're so invested in the club and deserve to have some idea of the inner workings.

We will probably end up with Jmac 2 weeks and Amartey 4 weeks using this clown.

Voss didn't do us any favours in his pressa, I hope we show the AFL footage of Motlop pushing Grundy into Francis which led to the concussion.

We won because our two clear best players both had epic games, we can bang on about nice little efforts of others , yeah Cleary chases well (not knocking him) but if Warner and Heeney get it 68 times and kick 4 goals between them we will win more often than not.

Can we do that every single week….maybe.

But hopefully others continue to follow the lead and work hard, you could see everyone lifting late with confidence, players like Jmac etc.

Grundy was a key to the win too and Tmac, Wicks.

I like Campbell, I accept he did hard work, but heck we would be awesome if he just got 10 more a game
A few of us "bang on" about the efforts of others because we seem to notice things others don't, or forget.

Most of the banging on in the gameday thread was "is X playing" type sledges of role, non mid, or more fringe players despite them clearly working hard, getting involved but just not racking up disposals like we're a fantasy footy team.

I thought Wicks had another good game but dropping 3 'easy' chest marks in the first half was pretty ordinary. At least he sort of recovered from each one.
On the other hand, i am loving the improvement with the amount of ball that Corey is finding now, but that is offset by his really ordinary decision making and execution. If he can tidy that up, then we will have a very serviceable player.

Corey worked hard, was lively in the first half. Some brainfades later on, but did put on a good smother when they were rebounding in the last.

There was a game earlier this season where he looked really composed in a 2nd half, just needs to channel that for most of a game. I'd probably be dropping him (and Lloyd) if we could afford to though.

I love the club as much as the fox team loved Carlton tonight

We won. We needed a win, it was ugly but I dgaf

Heeney and Warner dominated

Just annoying we might lose Amartey and Jmac , dumb

Cox use of Blakey is shit coaching imo

Roberts panics, he might be on the block with Corey Warner, Cleary, etc as players return
Nothing wrong with Roberts , happy with Heeney this week

His second half was improved , helped he was less involved. Butchered it constantly and was on record pace for turnovers early .

Heeney was BOG, why weren't you happy with him

So you reckon the mabo, constitution or the vibe defence is not getting him off? Perhaps we could use the Wookie defence used by Johnny Cochrane in that South Park episode?

I myself don't see any reason to drop Ladhams after his game last night. Did what was needed from him. I wouldn't me opposed to giving him a 1- 2 year extension. He's the kind of player we need. Not flashy but does the job.

Just hope the coaching staff continue with Heeney playing more forward. Getting the perfect balance of midfield time is obviously key.
Mills comes back in you would think? Would they play him as a sub first up?

Think a combination eventually of Rowbottom, Ch. Warner, Sheldrick, Mills, Heeney, Jordon, McInerney (after suspension) is a really strong midfield that is as deep as anyone's.
